As a Manager, Controls Assurance, you will join our high performing Chief Controls Office teams and assist in supporting the business to identify, assess and manage the risk inherent in providing a range of operations services to the CBA group.

In any given week you will:

• Assist in the Automation strategic pillar in becoming more efficient and effective in both executing assurance and testing, through the innovative use of Automated Assurance Tools, Data Analytics, Continuous Monitoring and Modelling.
• Provide Line 1 assurance through testing complex automated and business controls that support the Bank’s critical business.
• Drive continuous improvement of the controls environment through implementation of continuous control monitoring, automation and control rationalisation.
• Validate and present findings, document test plans, results and conclusions clearly and concisely
• Take ownership of assigned internal customer relationships using strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, keeping stakeholders informed of assignments, emerging opportunities where analytics can help achieve desired business outcomes

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Experience in a Risk Management, Assurance or Audit environment including the identification, planning, testing and reporting on automated and technology dependent manual controls across various business processes
• Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems
• Influencing and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient with one of the following tools-Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Servicenow as an end user and/or Advanced excel skills  
• Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks

Your qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in financial services (or similar environment), Big 4 and/or risk management highly valued.
• Relevant Tertiary Degree/ Relevant professional accreditations

This role is responsible for providing quality assurance in relation to claim assessment in line with the TAL claims quality framework and risk management principles.A key focus of this role is to promote a culture of risk management and continuous improvement by providing risk-based detective controls and insights relating to claim assessment. You may be required to lead the delivery of small to medium scale projects or well-defined tasks on major projects to enable QA remediation or continuous improvement initiatives

The main focus of this role is to provide Fuel product quality and technical support to Geelong refinery laboratory, Supply and Distribution, Manufacturing, International (Aviation and Marine), and Bulk Fuels (Retail, Commercial Fuels and LPG) businesses. This includes delivery of 2nd and 3rd level Customer Technical Support.

You will be responsible to ensure all activities are conducted and managed in accordance with agreed Health, Safety and Environment practices and procedures as outlined in the Geelong Refinery Management and Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete records of all test data, calculations and results.
• Maintain laboratory procedures and test methods
• Maintain and report on laboratory quality assurance activities
• Undertake sampling of routine and non-routine production and environmental streams and finished product tanks as required.
• Prepare calibration standards as required
• Assist with QA monitoring of laboratory activities including proficiency testing, correlation testing etc.
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Maintain Refinery PQ Risk Register
• Manage refinery PQRI (Product Quality Refinery Incidents)
• Act as a SME for refinery process changes, test runs and MOCs
• Act as the first point contact in-between Supply and refining business
• Provide non-routine investigations-testing
• Act as a focal point for all alternative fuels initiatives.

This role is to ensure the accuracy and quality of reports produced by Next Health consultants in a timely manner as well as providing consultants and customers with technical advice relating to reports and permanent impairment/disability assessments.

To coordinate and deliver a range of high quality, customer focused business administration support and duties for the provision of independent medical assessment and advice to Next Health team members, consultants, customers, clients and visitors.

• Undertake quality assurance of reports, AMS forms and permanent impairment/disability assessments and ensure they are compliant with:
  • Specific customer and/or legislative specifications;
  • Next Health standards and processes and;
  • Appropriate guidelines
• Identify inaccurate, deficient or incomplete reports and where necessary liaise with the relevant stakeholders (consultants, customers or team members) to get the matter resolved.
• Where required assist with consultant, customer or team member training sessions.
• Support the General Manager, Operations Manager and Report Production and Quality Coordinator in the induction of new consultants and new team members.
• Where required escalate to the Report Production and Quality Coordinator, consultant or customer any matter that requires intervention.
• Where applicable, advise consultants and customers of possible delays in turnaround times.
• Prioritise according to consultant availability, customer special requests and urgent requests.

What Success Looks Like

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all training relevant to the position and required tasks are completed and kept up to date. Use assigned initials within cGMP environment
• All documentation relating to Nelson’s products are kept within Quality Management System (QMS) and adhere to Data Integrity (see POL-002)

• Sample and test all incoming raw materials according to in-house specifications and methods of analysis
• Test all finished products according to approved in-house specifications and methods of analysis including Spatone as required by the approved SOP

• Support validation activities in the lab - equipment and methods.
• Carry out line checks on production activities and perform the relevant in-process checks, ensuring that such activities are in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform analyses, examinations or investigations as required.
• Collect results from third party lab as required
• Contribute to the investigation of consumer complaints as required.
• Ensure all data is stored and managed correctly
• Ensure any out-of-specification results (OOS) are investigated as per the relevant SOP
• Ensure all required retained samples are managed correctly
• Ensure that all chemical and consumable supplies are maintained in a safe condition
• Ensure the working environment is maintained in a clean and a safe condition
• Liaise effectively with staff from other departments
• Update documents as required
