Quality Transport Refrigeration Services (QTRS), established in 2007, initially solely as a service and repair provider to the Refrigerated Transport Industry, was named the Australian Distributor for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems, Refrigeration Equipment for Trucks & Trailers in 2015.
Our innovative approach to "how service should be" quickly earned us the reputation as the go-to place for many of Australia's most respected refrigerated transport companies. Our products are future-focused on sustainable, innovative technology proven in other areas of the refrigerated industry but until now has not been seen in Transport.
We are experiencing solid work pipelines, including new Mitsubishi unit installations, and continuing growing our ongoing maintenance contracts. We are seeking to hire an experienced Transport Refrigeration Service and Repair Technicians on a full-time basis in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane; our ideal candidates for these positions would be highly capable, a self-starter, passionate and reliable with an excellent eye for detail and customer service ambition to advancement. This role is ideal for a person/s who enjoys working autonomously & in team environments and who values strong culture & values within a business.
ABOUT THE ROLE;
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation and commissioning of Mitsubishi new units.
Repairs, servicing and maintenance on transport refrigeration units in our workshop facility and/or on-site.
Participate in ongoing training programs/sessions.
Share (rostered) on-call/emergency after-hours responsibilities.
Maintain customer focus and uphold the QTRS reputation.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Formal qualification as Certificate 3 Electrotechnology Refrigeration / Air conditioning or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years working of proven experience on major brands of Transport Refrigeration Systems.
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability the work unsupervised.
Able to work autonomously and in a team.
Professional manner and excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing directly with customers.
Must have current rights to work in Australia.
Hold a current driver's license.
Punctual and reliable.
Self-motivated, excellent attention to detail, and strong desire for customer service.
Willing to learn and develop and mentor/supervisor for other members of the team.
