Responsibilities of the role

·       Design and manage Eku’s global media, communications and engagement strategy. 

·       Enhance and protect Eku’s brand reputation, acting as brand guardian and ambassador internally and externally. 

·       Lead media activity and engagement, working with external agencies as appropriate, to prepare and distribute press releases, engage media and ensure consistent, targeted and high-quality coverage globally. 

·       Oversee the development of all communications collateral to support company announcements, milestones and public engagement activities. 

·       Brief senior executives and the global business, preparing proactive key messages and collateral to support internal and external activities (i.e. presentations, investor briefings, media relations). 

·       Manage and continuously improve Eku’s online presence including web, LinkedIn and other modes of engagement, including media monitoring. 

·       Oversee and coordinate the company’s global events calendar and attendance, including pitching for speaker opportunities as appropriate, and ensuring all company attendees are briefed and supported appropriately. 

·       To be responsible and to design and deliver community and stakeholder engagement strategies at a project and portfolio level. 

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, media, suppliers, local communities, First Nations representatives and broader project stakeholders. 

·       Design, implement and oversee Eku’s Community Grants and Partnership initiatives.

Competencies of the role

·       Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant field.

·       6+ years’ work experience in marketing and communications. 

·       Proven ability to create, manage and deliver strategic communications plans globally.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience in media relations and stakeholder engagement.

·       Knowledge and track record of working in renewable energy and battery storage industry, project development, infrastructure and investments is favourable.

·       Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage projects and budgets, often under time pressure, to meet multiple deadlines.

Role Overview:

Avid is looking for an Agency focused Sales & Partnerships Manager to be a lead point of contact with some of the largest media agencies in Australia.

Your mission will be to grow your book of business revenue by leading the relationship with a main agency Holding Co. This will include building a sales pipeline, managing brief + response requests and liaising internally with the Solutions & Client Success teams on proactive native content ideas.

This person should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in media sales roles with experience in digital media and/or agency sales.


Tasks & Requirements:

Manage relationships with key agency contacts across various levels on a daily basis with a focus on agency education, opportunity nurturing and pipeline management
Able to break down agencies/clients to move them along Avid sales cycle towards a Preferred Partnership status
Hit quarterly revenue targets with wider team support (Client success, Sales Enablement, Solutions team, etc.)
Drive high client satisfaction scores across key contacts
Work with Avid internal teams to break down briefs and produce proposals to become an agency must-buy
Liaise with content and strategy teams for insights and support into sales collaterals
Research competitors and identify opportunities for brands to integrate into Avid seamlessly


Preferred Experience & Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in media sales roles with experience in digital media and/orn media agency
Excellent ability to engage new prospects and problem-solve for clients/agencies to drive partnership outcomes
Passion for publisher and content-led solutions
Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, including developing presentations for a range of industries, and ability to communicate complex concepts simply
Clear understanding of digital ecosystem and marketing mix
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Slides
Good understanding of the Australian digital media/publishing landscape
Ability to captivate and create strong long-lasting relationships

NEP Australia is currently looking for an Audio & Communications Engineer (Comms Technician) with exceptional drive and work ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and brilliant technical minds to join our Australian Teams, Field & HUB.

The principal purpose of this position is to efficiently set up, operational testing of the in-field audio/communications facilities of any field or studio project you are assigned to.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

· To ensure all audio communication facilities in and around the OB compound are functioning and patched to be operationally ready by the scheduled hand-over time.

· To liaise with the project’s Audio Director and Technical Manager to ensure you are fully briefed on the size, scope, production schedule of the in-field audio and communications facilities required.

· Ensure the environment of the audio and communications facilities is neat and tidy and professionally presented and does not pose any danger to the public or co-workers.

Required skills and attributes:

· Both Riedel and RTS communications systems are used across our fleet of trucks and HUBs, and a solid and fundamental knowledge of these (or similar) Communications systems is a necessary requirement to apply for this role.

· Basic knowledge of audio consoles, with particular focus on LAWO and Calrec.

· A good level of Operational experience is a definite requirement, and ideally the candidate should have a good level of understanding of these devices at an Engineering level too.

· We do a lot of sport, so weekend and evening work are a predominant part of the role.

· Minimum 3 years of television broadcasting experience is preferred.

We are now looking for an experienced Accountant to support our Finance Manager and the day to day accounting function within the agency. This is a full time role, located in our head office in Balmain, Sydney. The salary on offer is $70k + Super.

The day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:

? Managing the day-to-day financial transactions including Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
? Payroll processing including superannuation lodgements
? Assisting with preparation of P&L and balance sheet.
? Reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and resolving any issues that arise.
? Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to support informed decision-making.
? Ensuring compliance with ATO and State based regulations including payroll tax
? Supporting Finance Manager with month end process including month end journals, WIP Revenue Recognition & balance sheet reconciliations
? Continuous process improvement and streamlining processes
? Collaborating with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights as needed.

The ideal candidate:

? Has a bachelor's degree in accounting
? Is working towards CA / CPA
? Demonstrated expertise in accounting and familiar with month end process (2- 3 years)
? Preferred experience in medium size businesses, showcasing an understanding of business operations.
? Willingness to be hands on with various tasks such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
? Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the role, as the company grows.
? Able to convey complex financial information clearly.
? Possess strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
? Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
? Proactive and able to take initiative, especially in a dynamic business environment.
