We are actively seeking a bright and motivated Senior Account Executive to join our Herd MSL Consumer Team, based in Sydney. The role

As the Senior Account Executive, you will be a core member within our consumer team, working alongside seasoned PR experts who will mentor and support you in your growth. This is an opportunity to elevate your skills whilst working across several leading brands in Herd MSL’s enviable portfolio –spanning across (but not limited to) the travel, health and fitness, music streaming and FMCG categories. There is no typical day – you will be stepping into an agile and dynamic environment where you will have the platform to leverage your unique strengths, knowledge of industry trends, and passion for creative ideas that drive both coverage and business results. Ideally you will also bring exceptional media relations skills, impeccable writing skills, experience with influencer engagement, confident client communications, attention to detail, and a focus on effective time management – all key areas that will lend to your success in this role!

What type of person will be successful in this role?

To be successful in the role, you will bring:

  • Ideally 3+ years’ of PR / communications experience, working with consumer brands to deliver impressive results
  • A passion for contributing to clever and creative communications campaigns and confidence leading the development of tactical multi-channel plans
  • A thorough understanding of the Australian media landscape, how to craft, pitch and convert stories and established media relationships across diverse channels and titles
  • Strong writing skills and creative flair, with experience writing a variety of materials
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
  • A strong understanding of the influencer / creator landscape and experience in effective and authentic influencer marketing
  • Emerging project management skills and an ability to lead components of campaigns effectively and autonomously
  • An ability to manage time and workload, prioritise and proactively manage up to internal stakeholders
