Media and Communications Advisor

About the role: The Media and Communications Advisor is responsible for raising the profile of MacKillop among key organisational stakeholders, with a particular focus on stakeholders in New South Wales and ACT. The Advisor will identify proactive media opportunities to tell the story of our work by monitoring daily media and building relationships with journalists and producers. They will also work with internal stakeholders to provide strategic communications advice to support program staff to achieve key program deliverables, in particular with recruitment and retention of foster carers. The Media and Communications Advisor will implement and coordinate the Ambassador strategy by identifying and building strategic partnerships with ambassadors who will help raise the profile of the organisation.
