We are actively seeking a bright and motivated Senior Account Executive to join our Herd MSL Consumer Team, based in Sydney. The role

As the Senior Account Executive, you will be a core member within our consumer team, working alongside seasoned PR experts who will mentor and support you in your growth. This is an opportunity to elevate your skills whilst working across several leading brands in Herd MSL’s enviable portfolio –spanning across (but not limited to) the travel, health and fitness, music streaming and FMCG categories. • Ideally 3+ years’ of PR / communications experience, working with consumer brands to deliver impressive results
• A passion for contributing to clever and creative communications campaigns and confidence leading the development of tactical multi-channel plans
• A thorough understanding of the Australian media landscape, how to craft, pitch and convert stories and established media relationships across diverse channels and titles
• Strong writing skills and creative flair, with experience writing a variety of materials
• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
• A strong understanding of the influencer / creator landscape and experience in effective and authentic influencer marketing
• Emerging project management skills and an ability to lead components of campaigns effectively and autonomously

• Ideally 4 + years’ of PR / communications experience, working with consumer brands to deliver impressive results
• Curiosity and commitment to deeply understanding the categories your clients operate in and the cultural, social, and political landscape impacting PR
• Passion and proven experience contributing to the development and implementation of clever and creative multi-channel communications plans
• Experience delivering a variety of PR executions including events, publicity, influencer engagement, content, and partnerships
• Experience autonomously developing effective earned media, influencer and content strategies that ladder up to the broader communications strategy
• Strong media contacts and experience crafting, pitching, placing, and pivoting stories across diverse media channels and titles
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with creative flair and proficiency demonstrated across a variety of materials
• Confidence presenting to external and internal stakeholders and strong client management capability
• A strong understanding of the influencer and creator landscape, and experience in effective and authentic influencer marketing

Your Career

This role will report to the Head of Unit 42, JAPAC. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for executive administrative duties, aligning with company priorities and managing executive staff.

Your Impact

• Engage in complex communication and calendar management at the executive level including
  • Drive and track executive-level communication activities, such as (but not limited to) - All Hands events, monthly newsletters, Skip-level meetings
  • Own communication event calendars for the VP
  • Support the preparation of presentations and team communications
  • Support staff meetings, recording of minutes, and action items
• Anticipate potential conflicts (i.e., schedule issues, critical meetings, location issues) and raise to address/resolve in advance whenever possible
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on key programs and events, generating business reports on an ad-hoc basis
• Partner to support team well-being activities and events 
• Support direct staff of VP on ad-hoc basis as needed
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, lodging and prepare and submit expense reports
• Organize and assist with online, hybrid and in-person events and large team meetings (e.g., team dinners, leadership off sites, All Hands, and training)
• Manage team distribution lists and reporting structure changes on internal systems
• Monitor and review team purchase orders, and team expense reports, prior to manager approval (and/or act as proxy approver when needed)
• Support systems, access, location and  IT needs for managers and new employees
• Provide project and presentation support as needed
• Responsible for ordering materials, catering, giveaways, and supplies as needed
