About the role

As an Operations Support Officer, you are responsible to cover all aspects of customer service/freight solutions/administration component. You are also responsible to ensure enquiries that cannot be answered during the first call are investigated and resolved quickly and effectively.

• Ensure enquiries are handled in a professional and prompt manner.

We are looking for Port Operations Supervisors to join our Geraldton Port team on a permanent basis. The role involves leading our team of Operators, Operator/Maintainers, and Loader Operators to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team, staring May 2024 for a 12-month parental leave cover!

Reporting to the Customer Success Manager – Operations, this role is responsible for coordinating deliveries of multi-functional devices and printers. Working closely with our logistics partners, account managers, supply chain and service teams, this role will ensure that customer expectations can be met in the timeframe provided, contributing to the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

• Efficiently plan, schedule, and coordinate deliveries to meet customer requirements.
• Verify product availability and coordinate with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Provide timely updates to customers and sales team regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving problems, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate SAP details of deliveries, including customer notes on order, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the national warehouse, state workshop, logistics, and service teams to streamline delivery processes.
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in using delivery tracking systems and related software.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support our local team and supervise on-the-ground operations. You'll be someone who is willing and able to get hands-on in order to get the job done and grow the business.

What you'll do

●      Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management

●      Support Warehouse Operations:

○      Repair vehicles as required and coordinate the workshop priorities

○      Oversee a smooth inflow/outflow process of vehicles from the workshop to the street, so that we can maximise the number of vehicles available to be ridden

○      Ensure that battery charging is conducted in a way that adequately services rider demand

○      Manage inventory in your location ensuring its accurate and up to date

○       Ensure all warehouse safety procedures are followed

●      Support Fleet Operations:

○       Marshal vehicles as required and coordinate marshaling priorities

○       Respond promptly to resolve any vehicle-related complaints received from the council or community

○       Ensure all on-road safety procedures are followed

●      Coordinate and supervise the team of Scooter Marshals and Fleet Techs who support the operations

●      Review key operational metrics and manage a tight ship

●      Innovate constantly on existing processes and products

●      Support City Leads in other ways as required, including running or coordinating Beam’s in-person safety initiatives and providing customer service support

●      Proactive and hands-on attitude - you’ll be doing physical work as required (e.g. driving the van and doing vehicle repairs in the warehouse). Previous mechanic/warehouse experience is viewed favorably

●      Self-starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business so this is a great position to fast track your start-up career

●      Experience with people management and training

●      Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience

●      Familiar with Office or Google Suite of applications (Sheets, Slides etc)

●      Strong written and verbal communication skills
