2x Senior Safety Advisor Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight $95,671- $99,656 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) Superannuation Location – Rockhampton Your new role Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives in safety? This position will help drive safety system compliance throughout Council while providing expert advice to a large and diverse workforce. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of safety management systems with relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in workplace health and safety functions. This position offers the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience whilst contributing to keeping the workforce safe, promoting Safety First and ensuring they go home to their family each night. You will oversee a diverse portfolio while undertaking duties including but not limited to conducting worksite inspections, hazard identification, incident investigation, delivery of safety training, document development and implementation of safety programs. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
