About you You are an ambitious, collaborative, and qualified mechanical tradesperson who enjoys working autonomously. You have good problem-solving skills and fault diagnosis skills and you’re proactive in dealing with customer complaints by being effective and efficient in your approach. With a strong focus on safety, you can identify, communicate and report environmental all hazards in the workplace and understand the quality requirements of the tasks to be performed within this position. It is essential that you have an Automotive Vehicle Mechanic Qualification with high exposure & experience on Heavy Vehicles & plant. You hold a current Construction Industry White Card and a current unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver’s licence. A Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence would be viewed favourably. What you’ll do

At the moment, as the Senior Systems Engineer you will be focused on:

· In this key cross-disciplinary role you will work closely with our Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams.

· Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, to agreed scope.

· Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions. This may either be provided remotely or on-site.

· Providing pre-sales support and expertise to the sales team.

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with external enterprise customers in delivering projects in professional services environments.

Must have experience with design, implementation and optimization of:

· Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange.

· Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AHV).

· Have experience in one or both of the following: Backup (Commvault, Veeam) OR Storage (HPE, NetApp, Lenovo & Dell)

· Automation and Scripting (PowerShell, Python)

You will have a curiosity & passion for customers and a proven ability to communicate solutions in a way that resonates with all levels of our customer’s. You must be comfortable in engaging both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders.

· You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.

· You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Senior Applications Engineer (Battery Storage) will be accountable for delivering high quality technical outcomes and experiences for customers that integrate Relectrify technology into their products.

The position offers the flexibility of hybrid work between home and our office in Melbourne. Some domestic and international travel for customer projects will be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

Lead joint projects with customers developing energy storage products with Relectrify CellSwitch™ technology.
Effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders, especially expectations between customers and Relectrify.
Drive more effective delivery of technical solutions to customers including improving tools and processes.

Essential Requirements

About the role:

What Will You Do?

As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) at Cadmus, you'll work across multiple codebases with a small team of cross-functional developers to solve various product engineering and architectural design challenges.

You'll apply your front-end skills to build performant, modern front-end applications with functional paradigms in React and Typescript. You will have ownership of our design system libraries, and assist in designing the GraphQL services and API architecture.

You'll also implement the backend GraphQL APIs in Elixir and build other polyglot backend services, while owning the deployment on AWS and other cloud services.

Full Stack Development: 4+ years of professional experience in full stack software development. You can develop rich front-end applications in React/Typescript. You have written complete backend services in Elixir/Rust/Ruby/Go, with GraphQL and REST APIs. You have built things from zero.
Strong Judgement: Based on experience and knowledge of the state of the art in software development, you make pragmatic suggestions for improving tooling and abstractions. You are comfortable making judgment calls on tradeoffs and edge cases in the user experience on your own.
End-to-End Picture: You understand the complete picture of building and deploying SaaS products on AWS Cloud and Google Cloud. You can work with SQL (like PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and fundamentally understand how the backend and frontend infrastructure/services connect and scale.
Communication Skills: You have advanced English communication skills, and are equally comfortable talking to with fellow developers and external customers. You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real-time.
Team Player: You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals and care about learning, growing, and helping others do the same.

You will bring your skills and experience in similar Architecture roles. Specifically:

Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Network or related discipline 
Experience in a subject matter expert role within an IT Connectivity Infrastructure team.

The following skills and experiences are crucial for this role: 

Cisco WiFi 6 wireless deployment including on-prem and cloud WLC deployment. 
Cisco dot1X and ISE Integration focusing on deploying zero trust enterprise networks.  
Zscaler ZIA and ZPA deployment focusing on Zscaler zero trust architecture. 
Cisco solutions such as Routing and switching, DNA centre, Cisco ISE and Cisco WLCs. 
Strong technical skillset relating to the technologies contained within the Connectivity Domain. 
Strong documentation skills. The successful candidate is expected to produce high-level and detailed level design documents. 
High level understanding of Cisco SDA, ASAs and SD-WAN technologies

Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills. 
Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CCNA, CCNP or CCIE etc.) 
Ability to travel to all Aurecon location (ANZ, Asia) for configuration and cutover activities.

3+ years professional experience in professional web development
Fluent in JavaScript and PHP
Experience coding, testing and documenting Drupal themes – including all front end functionality and templates – and modules – using contributed modules and developing custom modules as needed
