About the role:
As a Software Engineer in our P1C Application Development team you will be working on software development and BAU tasks relating to card processing technology. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, writing technical specifications, collaborating with business analysts group and other internal teams, and providing support to clients across the globe. This role is a work from home arrangement with preferred location in Melbourne or Sydney, however it can be elsewhere in Australia.
What you will be doing:
Designing, coding, and testing application changes
Providing support during UAT, and assisting with implementation of software upgrades
Interacting with product owners, business analysts, quality assurance teams and other internal stakeholders to review and discuss functional and technical solutions
What you will need:
Sound previous experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and card processing technology such as P1C or Base 2000 Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and stages
Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations
Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines
A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
