As well as experience in a similar engineering role. Specifically:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar.

• Hold RPEQ Certification.

• Comprehensive and demonstrated knowledge of at least 2 out of 3 of PSS/E, PSCAD and PowerFactory.

• Understanding of the NER S5.2.5 and S5.3 technical requirements.

• Understanding of the connection process from Connection Enquiry through to commissioning.

• Demonstrated ability to both read and write Python automation code.

• Strong understanding of Power System Studies and Power Systems.

About the role

• This opening is for a Customer Service / Admin Officer to join our team in Mackay

• This is a Full time, Permanent Role. The working hours for this role are 9:00 – 17:06.  

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Manage customer and client freight queries across multiple divisions within our Mackay Depot

• Handle each customer interaction with empathy and resilience, adapting to diverse needs and situations.

• Educate customers on how to use our self-service platforms effectively.

• Liaise with on site operations staff in order to resolve any customer queries or requests in a timely manner

• Data Entry of timesheet hours, rostering and payroll data into our systems and spreadsheet trackers

• Order in Uniforms and Stationery where necessary

As a Senior Signalling Engineer at Omada, your impact will be in the independent design review function including the verification process and the final sign-off of designs. You will utilise your specialist knowledge in rail signalling to deliver technical guidance to signalling teams to contribute to the successful management and delivery of projects for clients. You may also be responsible for leading a team of designers for medium sized to major projects.

In this role, you will:

• Design, check, and conclude independent verification of high-level signalling documentation inclusive of feasibility studies; technical requirements; SOWs; bonding/cable plans; control tables; power calculations etc

In this highly sought-after position, you will join the water team and be a key member of one of many project teams working in engineering partnerships with Southeast Queensland’s leading water utilities. You will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ to deliver water and wastewater treatment plant solutions.

• Deliver feasibility studies, business cases and reference designs for treatment plant projects utilising multi-discipline design teams including client personnel.

• Supporting the client across other aspects of their business as required for the successful delivery of the embedded partnership objectives.

What can you bring to the team?

You will possess a tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, be a Chartered Professional Engineer with either RPEQ status or able to register with the board, significant experience supporting large-scale water & wastewater treatment projects plus a working knowledge of contemporary software tools and associated systems.

Previous leadership experience will be desirable, as will a background in the following technical areas;

• Process design and calculations including:
  • Mass balances
  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Unit process sizing
• Design safe systems
• Lead the development of P&IDs
• Develop process narratives and functional descriptions
• Develop specifications for process equipment
• Audit, troubleshoot and optimise operating wastewater treatment plants

We are currently seeking a dynamic Chief Engineer to lead our Engineering Team. In this role, you will report directly to the hotel manager, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage priorities and maintain composure under pressure. 

Your main responsibilities are:

• Leading a team to plan and carry out preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort.
• Designing and implementing solutions to improve energy management and conservation.
• Contractor management and ESG Management.
• Ensuring the hotel upholds OH&S and fire safety responsibilities.
• Quarterly audit reporting and monthly maintenance reporting.
• Maintaining records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government and manufacturer specifications.
• Liaising closely with other departments to ensure minimal impact of repairs and maintenance on operations.
• Researching, recommending and liaising with the General Manager regarding procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the department.
• Prepare and submit capex proposals and manage capex projects

We are looking for a DevOps engineer with 4+ years experience, who has previously spent time building AWS Architectures that are deployed utilising solid coding and testing practices, that lean into best practice CI/CD, Microservices Architecture and Container Technologies.
