The Marketing Coordinator - Montu Brands is responsible for supporting various aspects of marketing campaigns, brand management, and communication strategies within the Commercial Marketing team.

The Marketing Coordinator assists the marketing team with the development of marketing materials, maintaining and optimising website content, monitoring social media platforms, proofing, data analysis, writing marketing briefs, and coordinating  projects and events.

Campaign Coordination:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of B2B marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and content creation, to ensure cohesive and effective campaign implementation.

Brand Management:

• Support the development and maintenance of brand campaigns, materials  to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all B2B marketing materials.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure all marketing collateral aligns with the brand standards and effectively communicates key messages.
• Proofreading marketing materials and packaging for accuracy.

Content Creation:

• Collaborate with content creators to develop compelling B2B marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and whitepapers.
• Maintaining and optimising website content across multiple websites.
• Assist in proofreading and editing content to maintain brand voice and accuracy.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to contribute to strategic decision-making.

Event Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and execution of B2B events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and facilitate networking opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics, manage event timelines, and support post-event evaluations.

Digital Marketing Support:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop email marketing campaigns.

Community Management:

• Monitor and maintain the B2B online community.

Reporting:

• Maintain marketing reports and assist with build post-campaign reports 

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time.

Continuous Improvement, Safety and Compliance 

• Continuously learn from successes and failures to refine and enhance improvement strategies.
• Actively participate in training (including mandatory training) and professional development sessions to enhance skill set.
• Observe, understand and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Policies, Procedures and directives.
• Be proactive and responsible for own actions, and adhere to compliance requirements relevant to your position (eg. legislation, policy and guidelines).

The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Slab making team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

The Slab Yard serves as the temporary storage facility for our steel slabs. These slabs are later transported to our Mills for further processing, using a combination of manual and automated cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 20 to 65 tons. In line with technological advancements, the slab yard is currently undergoing a significant capital project which aims to automate many of the remaining cranes, making it the first of its kind in Australia. As part of your role, you will have the unique opportunity to be directly involved in the commissioning of this cutting-edge technology.

What Will You Do?

As the electrical maintenance coordinator, you will:

• supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
• coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section
• coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions
• participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects
• respond to the day-to-day electrical availability and reliability issue

More About You

As an experienced electrical maintenance coordinator, you will have sound leadership experience, work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:

• electrical trade qualifications, or an advanced diploma in electrical engineering
• A Grade Electrical licence
• demonstrated leadership experience
• experience with PLC Systems and drives
