This role will be based out of KJR’s Gold Coast office. This role will report directly to the Strategic Business Development Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating efficient marketing operations and employee engagement at KJR on a regional and national level. This will involve working closely with others within the National Office structure, including HR, Finance, and the CTO to help pursue important internal and external marketing and communications activities that meet the needs of the KJR 5 Year Strategic Plan.
Specific Role Requirements
• Develop and implement a content plan for the KJR website and social media channels that respond to the business's strategic service positioning.
• Work with the General Managers in each region to assess marketing opportunities and coordinate campaign and activity planning i.e partner events, sponsorships.
• Support HR in organising the annual KJR Collective Co-op through the creation and coordination of content development, Collective engagement opportunities and ensuring the KJR Collective employer brand experience is consistent.
General Responsibilities
• Be the custodian of the KJR brand – helping all members of the KJR Collective maintain consistency in how it is presented both externally and internally.
• Coordinating the production of marketing campaigns, including copywriting, artwork creation, video creation, and branding as required to promote KJR's brand and services.
• Coordinate logistics and comms of potential/active strategic partner relationships for company marketing and brand affiliation.
• Develop and deliver on a range of industry specific events, including the coordination of logistics and comms – working with the relevant Regional General Manager.
• Coordinating external communications via our social media platforms and website (SEO) to promote KJR's services. Adapt content/campaigns to specific personas.
• Provide reports on successes or learnings from marketing campaigns, events, and content as relevant.
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture department to develop Collective Engagement and Employer Brand comms ideas and deliverables.
• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
• Experience in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing, experience with LinkedIn and X (Twitter), including paid campaign/boosting.
• Experience in project management and event organisation.
• Experience with research using data analytics software.
• Understanding or experience of business practices, strategies, and goals.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software.
• A tertiary qualification(s) in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline. Master degree highly regarded.
• Experience using InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
• Experience in WordPress and Canva.
• Experience in editing video for digital platforms.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Ability to develop meaningful working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge or experience in AI/Machine learning is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of the Queensland Government and experience with QLD grant applications.
• Experience in the drone industry (to support ongoing projects in Regional Queensland) highly regarded.
Salary & benefits
• Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation.
