About the Company We are recruiting on behalf of a leading energy business across Australia for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator. About the Role As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day warehouse operations. Working closely with the site supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistical operations. Your duties will involve coordination with third-party suppliers and the internal logistics team to ensure the seamless administration of procurement services and the provision of stock items to support the site's operation. This multi-tasking role requires you to work collaboratively within a team environment, ensuring that all practices align with the internal policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include: Driving the day-to-day functions of warehouse operations to achieve site operational objectives. Handling supply chain functions, including deliveries, receipting, material handling, storage, issue, and cycle counting of materials within the site's operation. Organising and coordinating local and interstate freight consignments for dispatch and transport. Providing procurement and purchasing support. Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse operations and develop safety and operational efficiencies to provide innovative solutions. Coordinating and administrating material Quality Inspections and tracking Material and Test Data Certification. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Demonstrated practical knowledge of MIMS/Ellipse and/or SAP Cataloguing, Warehouse Inventory, and Purchasing processes and procedures. Highly effective teamwork skills, with the ability to efficiently manage competing priorities. Working knowledge of system processes related to Warehousing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Procurement in a large industrial operation. A class LF High Risk Work License and experience operating a forklift and other associated stores equipment safely and effectively. High-level customer service and communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements when working at a high-risk industrial site, with the ability to identify and develop risk assessment safety processes.
