Injury Management Coordinator

If so, we want you to join our team!? Sodexo is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join our team.Reporting to our General Manager, Workers Compensation and Injury Management.This is a general scope of duties for the position of Injury Management Coordinator: Effectively set expectations and educate internal stakeholders on legislative and internal injury and claims management obligationsLiaise with injured workers, insurers, legal and health professionals for purpose of claims and injury managementWorking collaboratively with the Insurer case managers to achieve desired RTW outcomes and resolution of claims, ensuring responsible financial claims management of workers compensation portfolioPlan, develop and implement pro-active injury management and rehabilitation strategies for injured workersEnsure set timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to with all legislative codes, company and client driven policies and proceduresCoordinate clinical intervention and recommendations, attend case conferences to achieve desired RTW outcomesLead and participate in sessions with stakeholders through case conferencing, claims reviews and onsite visits Ensure timely claim reviews for planning, developing, and executing claim strategiesAccurately complete administrative tasks associated with injury management, fitness for work and workers compensation including file notes, RTW plans, lodgement of claims, maintenance of documentation on injury management systemCoordinate receipt of claims and ensure timely completion of claim forms for registration with insurance providers or claims agentsDevelop and timely provision of timely claims reports, as requiredCalculate, authorise and process weekly compensation payments and ensure timely reimbursements from insurerOther duties as required.We are looking for someone who is motivated, engaged and has a “hands on” approach to drive positive outcomes for the employee and organisation.Minimum 3 years’ experience in Claims and Injury ManagementProfessional experience preferably in a client service/allied health/legal or operations-based positionComprehensive knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation in QLDUnderstanding of Workers Compensation across Australia (multi-jurisdictional)Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skillsProven ability to demonstrate resilience in managing challenging scenariosDeveloped time management skills with the ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure environmentComputer literate - Knowledge of SolvInjury (preferable)Degree/Diploma in allied or health-related discipline (desirable but not essential)Why?choose?Sodexo??  Sodexo is a people business, employing over?400,000?people worldwide and thousands in Australia.?Our employees, who personify Sodexo's unique values of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress, are our greatest asset through their commitment and dedication.??Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
