Our Civil Infrastructure (CI) team has an exciting opportunity in our Sydney office for a technically minded Principal Civil Engineer. This is a great opportunity for either an Experienced Principal focused on design delivery looking to move into a Leadership role with a Tier 1 consultancy, or a Senior Civil Engineer ready to make the step up.

The successful candidate will be a highly qualified and want to work across a number of end markets and provide technical leadership to a team of passionate civil engineers. Whilst you will lead design with your clients’ needs in mind, your primary focus will be technical excellence and quality.

Depending on the project this individual will work as Design Lead leading a project team of junior engineers and digital staff, or as the independent Verifier.  Some of current major projects include various Sydney Metro commissions, Newell Highway Alliance, Easing Sydney’s Congestion (ESC) and Sydney Airport plus the team also supports several iconic projects across Australia/New Zealand and Asia Pacific.

You will receive comprehensive formal and on the job training focused on technical legal knowledge, matter management, and client service to give you a strong understanding of the legal needs of Australian businesses, in order to provide pragmatic advice.

What You’ll Be Doing

Under the supervision of our Practice Leaders and Senior Lawyers, you’ll be communicating with clients and taking care of matters from your first month! A typical day for our graduate lawyers may include (among other things):

• Conducting legal research.
• Providing oral and written advice to clients on a broad range of legal matters (including as part of our industry leading Legal Advice Consultation service).
• Drafting simple transaction documents.
• Preparing board and shareholder resolutions and other ancillary documents.
• Preparing ASIC updates.
• Assisting with due diligence (such as undertaking company and PPSR searches).

About the Role:

Our Wagerup Refinery is currently searching for a Senior Civil Co-ordinator / Engineer in a fulltime permanent capacity working a Monday to Friday roster. This role reports directly to the Senior Asset Integrity Consultant for the successful implementation of the site-specific civil infrastructure maintenance works program. Civil infrastructure includes concrete items including bunds, slabs, and structural supports; foundation earthworks, structural steel, chimney stacks, building structures and cladding, road pavements, train rail tracks, potable water piping, tank shells, storm water drainage and sewers.

The key strategic objectives for the role include:

• Implementation of agreed civil infrastructure maintenance program including program budget and schedule planning, scope definition/documentation, service order quotation and contract item via purchase order award with service contractors.

• Management of competitively bid maintenance contracts, including development of tender documentation, monitoring, and assessment of work scope progress against budget, quality criteria and schedule.

• Ensuring that Workmanship, Inspection and Testing Plans for maintenance works are in place.

• Ensuring progress in accordance with contract item sums (TBE, lump sum, etc.) and schedule.

• Controlling extra work items within agreed budget and schedule.

• Coordination, supervision and reporting on all items of agreed civil maintenance works, including management of work front contractors and sub-contractors.

In the role of Security Compliance Specialist, Tech GRC you will be part of a critical hub for Sales, Legal, Engineering, Compliance, Operation, and Marketing teams in presenting Adobe's security posture and overcoming customer security objections and concerns.

What you’ll do

• Perform the IRAP Readiness Assessment covering various cybersecurity guidelines of the Information Security Manual (ISM) for products looking for IRAP assessment.
• Present Readiness Assessment result reports to summarize the compliance objectives, key findings, and next steps to Partners and Management regularly.
• Coordinate with relevant partners to remediate key findings and prepare the products for external IRAP assessment.
• Oversight development of System Security Plan (SSP) documents for in-scope products.
• Continuously evaluate and drive upgrades of operational policies, procedures, and standard processes to meet ISM requirements.
• Review and coordinate Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) updates and IRAP Cloud Security Assessment Report (IRAP Report) with assessors.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent experience in Information Security/Cyber Security or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of related security compliance assessments, IT/Cloud auditing, and control testing experience.
• Must know Security Compliance frameworks (e.g. IRAP, Cyber Essential Eights, ISO, SOC 2, etc.)
• Sound knowledge of Cloud IT processes and Cloud IT infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Hold certifications like CISA, IRAP Assessor, and others.
• Good interpersonal and highly developed communication skills

About the role:

We are looking for a Security Compliance Specialist to lead CDC's security assurance function for the business. CDC Data Centres operates high security environments which must comply with rigorous government security and industry standards. The Security Compliance Specialist will be responsible for security assurance programs across the entire lifecycle of our data centres, including pre-planning, design, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

•       Develop, implement, and oversee security compliance and assurance programs to ensure that all requirements are met.

•       Assist the Senior Manager, Security, Resilience and Assurance in the development of security policy.

•       Draft security compliance-related protocols, procedures and guidance material as required.

•       Assist in the development and implementation of protective security design standards for pre-construction, construction and commissioning of new data centres and infrastructure in accordance with government, industry, and customer requirements.

•       Be aware of pending changes to government, industry, and customer security requirements.

•       Work closely with the Manager, Security Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to develop quality assurance measures for effective security operations within our data centres.

•       Liaise with customers success managers, and where necessary customers directly to ensure customer security requirements are being met.

•       Liaise with consultants and certifiers in relation to security-related certification and re-certification of data centres, and where necessary provide support to initial or ongoing certification requirements.

•       Educate and train employees (including management) on security compliance related matters.

•       Collaborating with internal and external audit providers or other professional advisors as and when required.

•       Fostering a culture of continual improvement in protective security compliance within the business

•       Mentor and impart knowledge on junior staff.

•       Lead, attend and contribute to appropriate team and stakeholder meetings and committees as required and relevant to ensure excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.

About you: 

•       3+ years working in a high security environment, preferable in state or federal government.

This role combines expertise in cybersecurity with effective change management strategies to enhance Nine’'s ability to protect sensitive information and mitigate cyber threats.

THE OPPORTUNITY 

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our client’s team. Reporting to the Executive (Legal and Compliance) this role is suited to senior lawyer looking to expand their career with aspirations to grow into a more senior internal role. The purpose of this new position is work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achieves strong commercial outcomes and meets it’s legal and compliance requirements. The Senior Legal Counsel will work closely alongside COO, Risk, HR and CoSec functions and advise across all areas of the business to ensure it is proactively managing our legal risks and compliances effectively and manage any legal matters. 

Key aspects of the role include: 

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial documents and contracts, or, where appropriate, arranging for external legal advice or review (including agreements with customers for sale of products and services, agency and broker agreements, leases, supplier and service provider agreements etc). 

Providing legal support and advice: 

• for establishment of new entities, alliances and joint ventures as required in Australia and internationally.

Assisting business (including sales and marketing, HR, operations and customer service, technology, finance and other business teams) with: 

• development of due diligence and contract management initiatives to ensure third-party vendors, suppliers, and partners meet compliance standards and do not pose undue risk to the business. 

• implementation and management of contract management systems to streamline contract workflows, track contract obligations, and manage risk 

• Assessment and mitigation of legal risks associated with supply chain management, vendor relationships, and outsourcing arrangements. 
• Managing litigation, disputes, claims, and regulatory investigations involving our client, including working with external counsel and representing our client in legal proceedings where relevant. 
• Managing and protecting our client intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets. 
• Ensuring our client and relevant stakeholders are abreast of relevant laws and any applicable changes in the jurisdictions it operates within. 
• Advising on data privacy laws and regulations, developing privacy policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements. 
• Assisting with the implementation of a robust compliance framework, including ongoing monitoring of compliance obligations. 
• Developing and maintaining Compliance Program in line with requirements of ASIC, ASX, telecommunications and other relevant regulators and in Australia and overseas.   
• Assist with internal policy reviews to ensure compliance with statutory and/or client requirements. 
• Reviewing promotional material produced by our client or any third party which promotes our client to ensure it complies with the promotional material legal requirements as set out by ASIC and legislation.

• Legal degree and holds a current legal practising certificate.   

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will focus on Critical Infrastructure and Public Sector Accounts, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities in our growing territory. You are the primary point of contact for these accounts and are accountable for delivering at above-quota sales performance in your region. You are motivated by a hunger to solve critically difficult challenges that face our clients. You develop trusted relationships at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. Your Impact

• You will specifically be responsible for acquiring and managing Critical Infrastructure and Public Sector accounts in Queensland

• Employing world-class account management skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the target accounts

• Be a highly competent presenter, with a proven track record in selling to C-level executives

• Develop and maintain detailed account profiles including organisational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis

• Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners

• Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets

• Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service - understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts

• Lead coordinating account strategy and tactics for sales support team (inside sales, systems engineering, sales management)

• Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process

What you’ll do:

Join carsales as a PR Manager (12 month maternity leave cover). Working within the marketing and content team, you will also engage with various internal departments across the organisation and collaborate closely with our Global Corporate Affairs team. This role will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns aimed at increasing our company's brand image and reputation, thought leadership, and visibility within the industry.
• Nurture and maintain relationships with both consumer and trade focused media outlets, bloggers, influencers, and community partners to secure positive coverage and endorsements.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to craft and distribute media releases and press material.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for thought leadership and speaking engagements at industry conferences, events, and forums to showcase our expertise and insights.
• Increase visibility of our brand through industry leading events and awards, as well as seek opportunities for us to  elevate our brand at events through activations, sponsorships and/or speaking engagements.
• Proactively monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to inform PR strategies and messaging.
