Full-time 3-year Civil Construction Traineeship (with the ability to complete sooner) Salary Sacrifice Benefits Available Located in Tully Community Solutions currently has a full-time vacancy for Civil Construction Trainees â?? Pipelaying Traineeship based in Tully. This Traineeship will be hosted by Cassowary Coast Regional Council. The successful Civil Construction - Pipelaying Trainee will contribute to the effective and efficient operations of Council’s Water Services section by assisting delivering capitol works program. This role will predominantly be based within the Water Services section of Council, this role may also be required to work across other teams within Water Services as required.  As a representative of Council, demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to a high level of service delivery and Safety in the best interest of Council and the Community are essential. Some duties that the role will include: Learning to read plans and overviews and follow and implement as directed. Carry out measurements and calculations. Operate plant and equipment. Implantation of traffic management plans The work is outdoors in most weather condition’s day or night. About you: Hold (or willing to obtain) a construction White Card Positive attitude towards Safety and Council policy and procedures Hold a current manual driver’s licence preferred. Have a can-do positive attitude. Demonstrate a mature outlook with desire to succeed as a Civil Construction Trainee Be available to work Monday â?? Saturday when required.
