About the role:

V2 Digital is hiring a Consultant (Software & Cloud Engineer) to join our team. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for building software solutions that power intelligent platforms and reinvent digital experiences. What your day will look like:

• Design and develop software using technologies such as Cloud Native, Node.js & TypeScript, React
• Develop complex software solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with product management and engineers to gather and prioritize product & customer requirements.
• Complete code reviews with other engineers and provide feedback.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop software that meets business needs.
• Collaborate with architects to help set the direction for the future of the platform.
• Participate in Agile software development process with an emphasis on quality and testing
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and utilising IaC tools for provisioning cloud resources

What's required of you:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with a variety of programming languages (Preference: Node.js, TypeScript or C#)
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (Preference: React)
• Proficiency in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bamboo, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with at least 1 public cloud, and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Bicep etc

The Purpose:

This position will play a key role in modernising, securing, and shaping the future of our infrastructure and ensuring it continues to meet the business needs.

They will work and collaborate closely with the engineers within the team and other business units within the division. The role also includes responsibilities to assist with conducting technical reviews for new and ongoing tactical and strategic initiatives.

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:

• First responder to cloud-related availability, security incidents and service requests.
• Automate and maintain operations in cloud-based environments using IaaC.
• Run and uplift CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain operations and how-to documentation.
• Collaborate with team members on the enhancement and uplift of new features.
• Evolve the platform in-line with developments and changes to cloud-based capabilities and services.
• Identify technology improvement and transformation opportunities to enhance customer service, reduce operating costs, and maximise the speed of implementation.
• Liaise with security team members to ensure the platform is secure.
• Addressing identified security vulnerabilities in a proactive and timely manner.
  

We'd love to hear from you if have:

• Broad IT technical skills with at least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in supporting a major Cloud provider such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
• Experience in Cloud networking such as VPC, NACL, Security Group, Firewalls, LBs.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PHP, Typescript.
• Experience in observability for infrastructure, applications, and cloud services with tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, PagerDuty, etc.
• Demonstratable experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Code frameworks and automation such as Terraform, AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, Ansible.
• Demonstratable experience with source-code repositories and CI/CD pipelines such as Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience with industry compliance frameworks and participation in security audits – PCI, ISO, TDIF

About the role

In the important role of Growth and Engagement Partner (NSW), your core function will be to build productive relationships between Ability Action Australia and the wider NDIS community, including service providers and participants.

You will lead business development and relationship management activities across key regions, generating growth and contributing to the ongoing sustainable expansion of Ability Action Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

• In partnership, develop a measurable stakeholder engagement strategy
• Build positive relationships and regularly engage with sector partners to increase NDIS participant referral rates.
• Represent Ability Action Australia at events, forums, and other networking opportunities
• Foster strong internal relationships with key areas of the business, in particular local Business Partners, to ensure that all stakeholders receive the highest possible value from our organisation
• Support the wider business by providing key local market insights and staying abreast of industry trends 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in allied health, business, marketing or similar.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS
• Strategy, business development and/or account management experience, ideally within the NDIS or allied health sectors.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver objectives.
• A high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
• High level ability to prioritise tasks, demonstrate initiative and operate autonomously.
