About the role:
V2 Digital is hiring a Consultant (Software & Cloud Engineer) to join our team. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for building software solutions that power intelligent platforms and reinvent digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to work at a fast pace, in an agile, creative, and innovative environment with deep technical expertise at your fingertips. V2 Digital operates on the principles of agility, creativity, and innovation, working as a team to build solutions, all the while unlocking transformative value through solutions that are experience-led, digital native, and evolved by insight.
What your day will look like:
- Design and develop software using technologies such as Cloud Native, Node.js & TypeScript, React
- Develop complex software solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with product management and engineers to gather and prioritize product & customer requirements.
- Complete code reviews with other engineers and provide feedback.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop software that meets business needs.
- Collaborate with architects to help set the direction for the future of the platform.
- Participate in Agile software development process with an emphasis on quality and testing
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and utilising IaC tools for provisioning cloud resources
What's required of you:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with a variety of programming languages (Preference: Node.js, TypeScript or C#)
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (Preference: React)
- Proficiency in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bamboo, GitHub Actions.
- Experience with at least 1 public cloud, and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Bicep etc
