- Applying primer and finish coats with spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- Removing making papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork

Skills & Abilities:

- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within related field

Fixed Plant Operators are responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting the rates of feed to the kiln, temperatures, coal usage and quality, and combustion air volumes in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines. Fixed Plant Operators conduct the activities that enable us to extract limestone and process it into various products ready for sale to our customers. This position pays $65,500 to $66,500 per annum. Responsibilities: Successfully operate the kiln to produce lime by products (limestone, quicklime, and hydrated lime) using calcining, slaking and carbonation processes. Transfer and store finish product to avoid contamination. Run coarse coal though mill to feed pulverised coal to kiln for combustion. Maintain combustion efficiency to balance combustion, energy and product quality and reduce fuel wastage. Understand and undertake the sequence of operations for kiln Burner Management System. Keep informed on local agency or governing body requirements regarding kiln emissions to keep the plant within permitted limits. Pursue excellence in work performance and contribute to improving team safety, quality of output and productivity. Complete Risk Assessments and/or Job Start Checks are completed prior to starting tasks.
