About the program
EACH is proud to be the Lead Agency of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Suicide Prevention (MHAODSP) program, a new initiative delivering comprehensive, integrated, and person-centred care across the CCQ region (Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast).
Collaborating with 9 partnering organisations the aim of this service is to address service gaps by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, AOD, psychosocial support, and early intervention and prevention through a multidisciplinary, person centred model of care. About the role
As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the provision of services at our hubs and managing the collaborative care journey within the MHAODSP service. You will lead the seamless integration of referral systems from Head to Health, ensuring compliance with contract, model, and fidelity requirements across all service streams. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of service quality, fostering an integrated approach to care, and driving operational excellence within the consortium.
Key Deliverables:
- Provide ultimate oversight and leadership for each hub, ensuring consistent practices and integrated service structures
- Work closely with managers to foster a cohesive approach to service delivery and innovation
- Oversee governance structures, manage budgets, and ensure financial sustainability
- Provide regular, accurate reporting to inform strategic decision-making and showcase program impact
- Support the professional growth and development of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Actively engage in co-design processes to foster collaboration and innovation, gathering stakeholder input to develop effective solutions

About you
You’re a dynamic leader with a Bachelor’s degree in health management, business, or a related field, complemented by at least five years of experience in mental health or alcohol and other drugs leadership roles. Your background includes successfully managing multiple locations and teams, demonstrating strong leadership and support capabilities.
You possess deep knowledge of the mental health and AoD sectors, policies, procedures, and regulations, coupled with a commitment to delivering person-centred care that respects diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Your commitment to cultural safety, trauma-informed care, and person-centred approaches underscores your dedication to inclusive, effective service delivery.
