Responsibilities:

• Contact Management for a portfolio of IT contracts

  • Collaborate with business, legal and finance teams to understand and clarify their requirements, and ensure with company policy

  • Leading contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, pricing and service level agreements. 

  • Ensure contracts are properly executed, reviewed and renewed as required.

  • Support the contracting team function in developing and executing a comprehensive reporting strategy across all contracts.

  • Manage the Contract Management Report to ensure it is up to date.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Commercialisation Manager (Rich Media
& Display) to create profitable, high quality, relevant and compelling display and rich media led product solutions across Nine’s digital portfolio that drives revenue generation through the sales teams.

You will be responsible for delivering new market-leading solutions, embedding them within Nine’s broader product set and supporting the sales function in generating revenue from display and rich media.

Day to day you will:

• Identify opportunities to improve commercialisation of Nine’s digital assets through display and rich media led initiatives 
• Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across Sales, Nine Powered, Campaign Operations, Pricing & Inventory and Editorial to design and manage the roll out for new display and rich media led products 
• Work with Trade Marketing to produce product-specific go-to-market materials and position them effectively in market
• Provide product ‘playbook’ specs and resource material into Powered and Trade Marketing to support their creation of go-to-market materials
• Partner with the Product team to develop commercially optimized products as the websites and apps in Nine’s portfolio are evolved
• Source, onboard and manage the commercial relationships with new rich media vendors to strengthen Nine’s rich media and display based offering where appropriate

Reporting to the Editor, Sydney Morning Herald, the Personal Assistant position provides high-level support to the Editor and day-to-day office management and reception duties. The role involves confidential, high-level information as well as engagement with executive and community stakeholders. This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires professionalism, interpersonal skilfulness, energy and attention to detail.

Day to day, you will:

• Provide quality and timely administrative support to the Editor.
• Coordinate communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients.
• Maintain and report on a current log of correspondence and commitments and chase up items approaching the due date.
• Maintain and coordinate an effective calendar system, ensuring the Editors' competing demands are effectively managed.
• Make travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries
• Act as the point of contact between the Executive and their internal or external colleagues
• Organise meetings and book meeting rooms

You’ll be working alongside both Senior and Associate Engineers within the team, and closely with Product and Quality in the broader Streaming team.

We’re looking for people who are based in Sydney, and would be able to come into the office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop and test solutions.

• Work across our web-based tech stack (Typescript and JavaScript), particularly utilising React (including Next.js, Styled Components, Jotai state management, Jest, Testing Library React and Playwright), hosted in Docker on AWS infrastructure.

• Develop our streaming video stack and its accompanying analytics and observability.
