The roster is 2 weeks on 2 weeks off  11 hour shifts FIFO from Perth

About the Job:

Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, the Refrigeration Mechanic is expected to work as part of team to perform general repair work and maintenance. The main responsibilities of this role are to complete assigned preventative maintenance and inspections of all equipment .This includes, refrigeration repairs and preventative maintenance on split system AC and RAC units. Install, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain refrigeration equipment. Perform pre-start up checks on equipment and maintain and update the maintenance register. Ensure inventory levels are maintained and order supplies as required.

Your Key duties will be repairs and maintenance of facilities on site, assemble, install test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools, troubleshoot specialized refrigeration equipment and machinery, diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem, test lines, components and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment, inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

About You:

You will have experience completing facilities and building maintenance and inspections to an agreed schedule and assisting with the provision of refrigeration and associated services and duties to contribute to the smooth overall running of the site.

Must be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure prompt and professional service in dealing with all stakeholders.

You will display a strong team focus with excellent customer service, ensure presentation and service is carried out to the client standards, plus have excellent time management skills, adhere to all workplace safety requirements and carry out other reasonable duties as designated by your supervisor.

You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise work orders, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision and a positive attitude.

Some Key Responsibilities

• To represent Team Global Express in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers and in a consistent and timely manner.
• To ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
• Adhering to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices. The driver is expected to understand and respect TGE’s OH&S policies and procedures.
• Accept or reject Dangerous Goods in line with legal requirements.
• Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points.
• Ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.

About you:

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current and valid manual HR driver’s license with relevant driving experience.
• Experience with handheld barcode scanning devices.
• Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
• Dangerous Goods awareness.
• Experience with radio communications systems.
• Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment.
• Experience with restraining loads in accordance with National Transport Commission’s Load Restraint Guidelines.

About the role:

Sodexo is seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Building Maintenance team  within the Pilbara region. Reporting to your Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan and implement preventative and corrective maintenance programs while providing advice and support to work teams to address facilities maintenance work in a productive manner. The position on offer is FIFO (flights from Perth). This role is permanent, full-time position with Sodexo. Please note that rosters will vary due to the current climate. 

Key duties include:

• Effectively supervise the employee relations and management of your work crew and ensure employees are trained and held accountable for their tasks
• Ensure all servicing and maintenance work is performed in accordance with Company Management Systems, Statutory Obligations, Standard Work Procedures and Risk Assessments
• Ensure timely evaluation and scoping of work requests prior to approval for the work management planning process
• Participate in the weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule
• Ensure safe execution of maintenance work as per the signed of schedule
• Manage the planning and execution of unplanned work and the re-scheduling of the existing work orders as required
• Review work execution performance with team members, identify gaps and take corrective action as necessary to improve performance
• Manage and review events and ensure that escalation protocols are complied with
• Provide input into the development of maintenance work strategies
• Close completed work orders to ensure end to end process compliance
