Your role

Working hand in hand with the co-founders, this role engages with all parts of the business, from administration, HR, finance, operations, to technical staff, translating technology development to real world applications and customers.

Under the broad direction of the co-founders you will:

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Hire, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers. • Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading and managing software engineering teams. You have driven operational and engineering excellence improvements across teams, setting and maintaining standards for engineering teams. Strong hiring track record, where you have unearthed amazing developers and groomed them to be world class.
• Technical Expertise: 8+ years of professional experience in software development, where you have built things end-to-end. You have worked with rich front-end applications in React/Typescript, backend services in Elixir/Rust/Ruby/Go, with GraphQL and REST APIs. You understand the complete picture of building and deploying SaaS products on AWS Cloud and Google Cloud. You can work with SQL (like PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and fundamentally understand how the backend and frontend infrastructure/services connect and scale.
• Strong Judgement: Based on experience and knowledge of the state of the art in software development, you make pragmatic suggestions for improving tooling and abstractions. About the Role

Our Service Desk Agents are the first point of contact for our clients. No two days will be the same as you’ll be proactively problem solving any customer issues that come your way or escalating them as appropriate.
As part of the Managed Services team, you’ll provide high quality, efficient support to our clients and their customers through responding to telephone calls, emails and alert monitoring. Following ITIL processes, you’ll identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.

Operating Hours

You'll apply your front-end skills to build performant, modern front-end applications with functional paradigms in React and Typescript. You will have ownership of our design system libraries, and assist in designing the GraphQL services and API architecture.
