We have an opportunities available for TWO experienced Pastry chefs to join our Pastry Team. You will be responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of our busy pastry section, supplying handcrafted breads, pastries and cakes. Your roster will be 11.30am - 9.30pm, 4 days a week, during a busy night you may stay back until 10pm.

Ideally you will be available to start ASAP! We can consider someone at a Commi/Demi/CDP or Senior CDP Level.

If you love working across a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces – especially in a nature-filled poolside environment, this could be the job for you. In this role you’ll be keeping lobbies and public facilities in a clean and neat condition.

Your tasks include: window cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, polishing furniture, pressure cleaning paths, driveways and outdoor furniture.

The role is 5 days a week, the hours that you will be required to work are between 5am and 10pm, on a rotating roster across 7 days. The shifts are 5am - 1pm, 8am - 4pm and 2pm - 10pm.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, great organisational and time management skills, as this role requires you to work to a detailed job list and calendar to ensure that nothing is missed or overlooked. You will enjoy working both indoors and outdoors and pride yourself on your ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders.

To work with the Head of External Affairs in the development and delivery of annual plans and initiatives.

Collaborate with Head of External Affairs in implementing the ANZ corporate and internal communication strategies for broad stakeholder engagement to raise a positive profile of Biogen and support engagement of employees. Manage projects that cultivate alliances, partnership opportunities and advocacy in response to patient needs. Work to develop insight-led programs that bring about change.

 Corporate Communications

• Provide support for external-facing stakeholder engagement; event management, correspondence, filing, pitch processes, supplier/agency management
• Research and analysis on specific topics to aid in planning delivery
• Manage strategic corporate profile-raising initiatives and campaigns including research and sourcing of appropriate partners
• Manage ANZ LinkedIn presence - strategic content development; employee engagement; training;
• Assist with media management; relationship building; strategic engagement; triaging of media enquiries; issues management
• Manage content and updates for Biogen ANZ websites
• Manage and guide teams on the company’s role and use of social media
• Act as an ambassador for Biogen and the External Affairs function/work
• Adhere to all Medicines Australia, compliance and financial SOPs with support from Legal Counsel
• Potentially liaise with international colleagues with Corporate, Public and Government Affairs

 Internal Communications

• Support the development of annual strategic internal communication plans and content
• Coordination of proactive communication such as town halls, regular leadership communication etc.
• Preparation of communications content in a variety of formats (writing and editing skills essential) and ensure all items have been through appropriate approval processes
• Management of internal communication channels such as the intranet (SYNAPSE) and others to be developed

Product Communications

• Participate in cross-functional working groups as appropriate
• Provide communications advice to product teams as necessary

Catholic Healthcare, a leading Aged Care provider that is experiencing significant growth, has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Practice, Risk, and Quality team as an Enterprise Risk Manager.

As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Quality Officer and have one direct report under your supervision.  You will be responsible for providing direct line of sight and assurance for the CEO and Chair, Finance, Audit and Risk Committee over all enterprise risk matters.

In this integral role, you will lead the enterprise-wide risk management function ensuring that the strategic frameworks and risk systems are effective to identify and mitigate risk that may impact Catholic Healthcare.

Your practical and proactive approach, coupled with your passion for improving organisational resilience and audit systems and processes,  will be instrumental in managing an effective enterprise risk function.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Conduct a comprehensive review of existing risk management practices throughout the enterprise to identify strengths and weaknesses in the current risk framework and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement an advanced, enterprise-wide risk management framework that adheres to industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed and insightful reports on risk trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Establish and operationalise Internal Audit function to identify and assess risks related to aged care operations, including clinical, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Partnering with Executive members to facilitate the identification and assessment of existing and emerging business risks
• Developing and/advising on risk mitigation plans to address identified risks
• Implement standardised methodologies and tools to facilitate efficient and thorough audits.
• Fostering a risk-aware culture by promoting awareness and understanding of risk management principles
• Providing effective leadership, coaching, and support to your direct report and peers.

The ideal applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across cross functional teams and with other internal and external stakeholders, in addition to;

• Min 5+ years demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, within the healthcare or aged care sector
• Strong understanding of aged care regulations, compliance, and quality standards
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as, risk management, or business; a master's degree or relevant certification is preferred
• Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
