Key Responsibilities

• Mentoring mid-level and junior staff through reviewing work, providing clear, concise and supportive feedback within a culture-focused environment
• Preparation and review of monthly management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts for clients’ businesses
• Explaining the key insights from financial information and management reporting to small business owners, in a clear and simple manner
• Utilising Xero to build dashboards that deliver accurate and timely financial insights

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with your clients, working with them to achieve their business goals.

Requirements

• Degree qualified with minimum 2-4 years’ experience in public practice
• CPA or CA qualified
• This role can require some travel to our clients businesses. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle on weekdays is required
• Experience working with small business clients
• Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of junior staff

We are looking for a Repairs Service Technician based in Regional Victoria – Bendigo. This is a permanent role and reports to the Regional Victoria Area Manager.

You will work closely with other Service Technicians, Mechanical Fitters, Installers, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Service Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities for You

• Performs service, repairs, and maintenance work in accordance with relevant job procedures, technical articles, and operations manuals.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers.

• Provide electrical and mechanical training to apprentices and sub-contractors.

• Attend lift and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications on lifts and escalators.

• Perform upgrades and repair work in accordance with all relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735, and accordance with the relevant Award and /or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

• Liaise with customers and submit leads using Otis-provided applications.

• Standby and after-call-back coverage (if applicable)

Key working relationships - Internally and Externally

• Works closely with the Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, Branch and Operations Managers.

• Liaises with functional management at other Otis entities and headquarters.

• Represent the Company with major customers, suppliers, and the public.

• Work closely with the Sales Team, including Sales Account Representatives, Sales Managers, and Sales Coordinators (where relevant).

• External stakeholders include customers, building owners, managers, independent and government agencies, unions, consultants, and suppliers.

What You Will Need to Be Successful

• Have Electrical qualifications as relevant to the role.

• Minimum two (2) to five (5) years’ experience within the Lift Industry.

• Extensive electrical and mechanical knowledge across large equipment and the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.

• Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.

• Demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Strong English language skills, both verbal and written

• Intermediate knowledge and experience using technology, including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).

• Highly organized, structured, and able to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.

• Attention to detail and results-driven.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced safety professional to support our regional operations working FIFO from Brisbane supporting sites in QLD & NSW. This a FIFO role on a 2:1 roster. his is your chance to join an organisation currently experiencing growth.  Salary $110,000 + super.  

About the job

Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will work closely with site-based personnel, supporting safety activates such as, risk assessments, manage company and client-driven HSE activities, programs, drills and meetings. As the HSE Specialist you will undertake and support comprehensive incident investigations, comply with HACCP plans and train staff according to respective requirements. You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Bring your passion for safety to our team!

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, preferably working within the mining, civil or facilities maintenance industries in a senior capacity. Certificate IV Work Health & Safey is an essential qualification whilst a degree in Health and Safety & Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be preferable for this role.  A current full Manual Driver’s license is mandatory in order to operate our site vehicles.

In addition to excellent time management and teamwork skills, a background working with trades occupations and exposure to Root Cause Incident Investigation or Esstentail factor investigations will lead to success in this role.

You will be someone who can easily build positive working relationships and foster engagement and motivation with HSE initiatives.
