Overall Purpose of the Role
Xodus has a well-respected Environment and Approvals team delivering Environmental Impact Assessment for onshore and offshore environmental approvals for some of Australia’s most high-profile oil & gas and renewable energy companies (including CCS, Hydrogen and Offshore Wind)
We have flexible role available for experienced environmental approvals consultant to do great, meaningful work with our dynamic and busy team.
To be successful in this role you will be able to support multiple offshore and onshore environmental scopes of work ensuring efficient use of our intellectual property and delivering value to our clients.
We operate as a global team and have opportunities to work with and learn from our Renewables & Environment teams in Japan, UK and the US.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment for various onshore and offshore energy projects.
- Support, develop delivery of environmental services to clients including approval planning, execution, and compliance monitoring.
- Participate in maintaining and developing client relationships
- Develop productive internal relationships to support a creative and effective team environment
- Establish, maintain, and improve the environmental knowledge of the APAC Environment and Renewables Division ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all knowledge upon which our products and services are delivered.
- Provide geospatial support including data management and presentation, mapping deliverables, cable routing and constraint analysis across a range of projects.
- Tertiary education in an environmental discipline highly desirable, but not essential.
- Experience with GIS software including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro QGIS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
