ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital. The Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Recovery unit. A rare opportunity to work in a blended paediatric and adult recovery unit, with no rostered night duty and an on-call roster which accommodates work-life balance. The Memorial Hospital is a private not-for-profit 98 bed hospital. We offer a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, opthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery. The Memorial Hospital is equipped with 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit. Essential criteria:
Recent relevant experience in Recovery, Anaesthetics or Critical Care
South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
Ability to work a 6-day roster (Monday-Saturday) and participate in the on-call roster
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to quality patient care
Paediatric experience - desirable
Advanced life support and Paediatric life support - desirable
