That’s why we need an ambitious Engineering Manager to join our team and help us deliver our signature high-quality experience for our users worldwide — ensuring our product features are reliable, performant and set up to scale, while building a world class software engineering organization. Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Hire, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving project goals and maintaining high standards of quality. Unblock team members on difficult development challenges, and build a learning mindset.
• Technical Strategy and Architecture: Develop and execute the technical strategy for our products and services. Drive the architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of applications. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform decision-making. Build the necessary processes to ensure our products are compliant with required certifications.
• Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are completed within budget and timelines. Continuously evaluate and enhance development processes to improve efficiency, quality, and speed of delivery. Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
• Product Evangelization: Be the face of our engineering team in internal and external stakeholder conversations, driving alignment and showcasing our work and its value to one and all. Handle customer objections and doubts as needed, positioning us as THE definitive solution in the market.

• Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading and managing software engineering teams. You have driven operational and engineering excellence improvements across teams, setting and maintaining standards for engineering teams. Strong hiring track record, where you have unearthed amazing developers and groomed them to be world class.
• Technical Expertise: 8+ years of professional experience in software development, where you have built things end-to-end. You have worked with rich front-end applications in React/Typescript, backend services in Elixir/Rust/Ruby/Go, with GraphQL and REST APIs. You understand the complete picture of building and deploying SaaS products on AWS Cloud and Google Cloud. You can work with SQL (like PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and fundamentally understand how the backend and frontend infrastructure/services connect and scale.
• Strong Judgement: Based on experience and knowledge of the state of the art in software development, you make pragmatic suggestions for improving tooling and abstractions. You are comfortable making judgment calls on tradeoffs and edge cases in the user experience on your own. You have built things from zero, and can enable your team to do the same.
• Communication Skills: You have advanced English communication skills, and are equally comfortable talking to with fellow developers and external customers. You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real-time.

• Startup DNA: You’re flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and have experience scaling systems to support rapid growth. You have been a one-person army when needed, or worked as a founding engineer. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals and care about learning, growing, and helping others do the same. You bring your passion and work ethic to the table every day, and constantly set the example for others. You are constantly looking to upskill yourself, and find ways to improve upon the status quo.

About the role

We need a superstar Product Manager to join our team and help us build delightful experiences for our users worldwide. With countless opportunities to make an impact, you'll help us solve product challenges and evolve the Cadmus platform further.

In this role you'll:

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Take ownership of output quality, by running validation tests and writing up user documentation
• Drive product launches while working with cross-functional team members
• Ensure continuing success of products with analytics, support and evangelization

We’d LOVE to hear from you if you have:

• 3+ years of overall experience, with atleast 2 years of industry expertise in product management
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of successful products throughout its lifecycle
• Comfortable working effectively with cross functional teams working remotely, allied with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated skill at user research, generating insights from customer conversations and internal data, and translating them into problem statements and roadmaps.
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

An opportunity is currently available in our Separation and Flow Technologies Sales team to drive growth in the Australian market.  Based at our facility at the Melbourne Airport Business Park, the role requires an astute Sales professional with engineering/technical skills who can clearly identify, understand and explain to existing and potential clients the benefits and optimisation to be realized through the implementation of our technologies, specifically separation in the Water and Wastewater Industries. 

Other responsibilities include:

• Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities across Australia
• Monitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activity
• Tendering, Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
• Making use of Digital Tool such as CRM for maintaining customer account data such as Installation / Equipment Details / Tech Requests & Service Offer Requests.
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Attend relevant industry forums / trade shows and exhibitions

Responsible for the supervision of the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Front Desk and ensures that all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.

This is a hands-on role, highly customer focused, and requires an individual who can lead by example in meeting and maintaining our team brand standards. In addition, you will:

• Oversee all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check in/out processes adhere to agreed procedures and standards.
• Manage and supervise tasks of staff to ensure that highest quality service is delivered and department standards are met.
• Provide loyalty incentives, whilst applying a creative lens that is ambitious & “out-of-the-box”
• Review and implement Procedures
• Communicate with Hotel Manager on all matters regarding guest services & hotel operations.
• Supervise shift handover procedures.
• Coordinate and communicate with other hotel departments as required regarding general administration and operations issues.
• Provide management presence at all times by assisting with the handling of guests’ needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.
