About the role

• This opening is for a Customer Service / Admin Officer to join our team in Mackay

• This is a Full time, Permanent Role. The working hours for this role are 9:00 – 17:06.  

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Manage customer and client freight queries across multiple divisions within our Mackay Depot

• Handle each customer interaction with empathy and resilience, adapting to diverse needs and situations.

• Educate customers on how to use our self-service platforms effectively.

• Liaise with on site operations staff in order to resolve any customer queries or requests in a timely manner

• Data Entry of timesheet hours, rostering and payroll data into our systems and spreadsheet trackers

• Prioritise your work effectively and efficiently throughout the day and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain staff, training and compliance databases where required

• Order in Uniforms and Stationery where necessary

• Manage various spreadsheet trackers, reports and other compliance documents in order to cleanse, update and maintain them on a regular basis

What you will be doing:

• Engage with our guests on check in, check out and during their stay through reception and concierge duties
• Handle guest concerns efficiently to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
• Assist in providing recommendations and information about Brisbane and its surrounds to our guests
• Interact with different departments on a daily basis to ensure that our guests have a seamless experience
• Provide exceptional service and product knowledge to proactively upsell hotel products and services.

In this role you will:

• In liaison with F&B management leaders, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spice Central Kitchen and Bar, Conferencing and In Room Dining operations
• Deliver personalised service with passion and professionalism, constantly striving to maintain and exceed our guests’ expectations and Heartist Service philosophy
• Animate the restaurant and bar to make it a fun, unique and enjoyable experience for all guests through creative activations, events.
• Control the beverage stock and carry out regular stock takes.
• Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Be knowledgeable and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies

About The Role
