We are seeking a Senior Corporate Communications Advisor to join our Australia New Zealand Marketing and Communications team, based in our Melbourne office.

Reporting to the Head of Communications – Australia New Zealand, you’ll be part of a broad team of content and communications, creative and marketing professionals working across AECOM’s four Australian and New Zealand regions.

Your work will assist our multidisciplinary team of nearly 4000+ engineers, planners, project managers, environmentalists, and scientists in delivering on time, every time, for our clients.

In this fast-paced corporate communications role, you will collaborate with our Australia New Zealand and Global Communications teams on channel strategy development, content creation, and coordination for our external channels, including our website and social media. You may also work closely with our regional delivery and operational leadership teams to coordinate and create communications and messaging to help drive our EVP, employee engagement, and keep our business informed and aligned.

At CoinJar, we have provided cryptocurrency services to Australians for over a decade. Our operations necessitate that interactions including the handling of personal identifiable data, fund transfers, and account usage, comply with regulatory requirements. Adhering to anti-money laundering (AML) legislation by conducting customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring is an integral part of our business.

As Financial Crime Operations Officer, you will manage customer onboarding, address financial crime escalations, conduct ongoing monitoring and enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD), and take proactive measures to prevent fraud and safeguard CoinJar's customers.

This full-time role is on a 12-month contract with the potential to move to permanent, offering a hybrid work arrangement between our Melbourne CBD office and your home.

Responsibilities

• Review and conduct KYC and ECDD for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSF
• Review and action watchlist alerts
• Review and action alerts to detect and prevent suspicious activities in accordance with the AML legislation
• Assist with lodging suspicious matter reports to AUSTRAC
• Action Financial Crime related escalations from CoinJar Support and the wider CoinJar team
• Assist the Senior Manager of Financial Crime Operations as necessary

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• An understanding of KYC and ECDD processes

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, our Social Media Advisor will be an integral part of our growing, best-in-class shareholder engagement, marketing and communications team. Through social media content, newsletters and digital marketing, the team is essential to Wilson Asset Management’s strategy. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, with the goal of enhancing the online presence of Wilson Asset Management, building the profiles of our Chairman and investment team, growing the awareness of our brand, products and events, and driving shareholder acquisition and retention.  

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to support our business goals with measurable KPIs. 

• Develop a social media calendar in coordination with the Corporate Affairs and Marketing team. 

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging social media platforms. Recommend and implement innovative approaches to enhance our online presence and stay ahead of competitors. 

• Create, curate and manage high-quality, engaging content tailored to various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 

• Monitor comments and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 

• Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting and performance analysis. 

• Collaborate with internal teams, including the finance, investment and operations teams to ensure cohesive messaging and to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns. 

• Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimise engagement and growth. 

Our Ideal Candidates  

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field. 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Social Media Advisor or in a similar strategic role, preferably within the financial services or funds management industry. 

• A strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices, and will the ability to translate Wilson Asset Management’s investment insights into compelling and timely digital content.     

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Proficiency in social media advertising and paid campaigns. 

• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies. 

• Strong understanding of analytics tools and content management systems.   

• Experience in crisis management and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 

• The ability to share our content in engaging ways, both in text and visually.

The Senior Communications Adviser will play a critical role in supporting all Communications related activity across the relevant AFCA area. Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Communications, this role will manage and contribute to communication items to be delivered across various channels. You will be an experienced communications professional who has exceptional stakeholder engagement skills supporting all communications related activity for our Ombudsman portfolio. The Senior Communications Adviser will provide strategic communication and engagement advice, support and services to the business.

Typically, in this role you will:

• Provide strategic communication and engagement advice, support and services to the relevant AFCA area.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to develop and execute communications and engagement strategies, ensuring achievement of the desired positioning and branding.
• Partner with the business to understand key insights and advise on reasonable solutions.
• Manage and contribute to the production of communication items to be delivered to multiple stakeholders across various channels
• Produce material to inform AFCA employees about AFCA initiatives and empower them to respond to questions from external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to develop communications the achieve the aims of the corporate plan and other strategic initiatives of the organisation.
• Provide ongoing advice on communications and stakeholder engagement best practice to enhance AFCA’s current communications and develop new projects and channels.
