This role will report to the Head of Unit 42, JAPAC. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for executive administrative duties, aligning with company priorities and managing executive staff.

Your Impact

• Engage in complex communication and calendar management at the executive level including
  • Drive and track executive-level communication activities, such as (but not limited to) - All Hands events, monthly newsletters, Skip-level meetings
  • Own communication event calendars for the VP
  • Support the preparation of presentations and team communications
  • Support staff meetings, recording of minutes, and action items
• Anticipate potential conflicts (i.e., schedule issues, critical meetings, location issues) and raise to address/resolve in advance whenever possible
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on key programs and events, generating business reports on an ad-hoc basis
• Partner to support team well-being activities and events 
• Support direct staff of VP on ad-hoc basis as needed
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, lodging and prepare and submit expense reports
• Organize and assist with online, hybrid and in-person events and large team meetings (e.g., team dinners, leadership off sites, All Hands, and training)
• Manage team distribution lists and reporting structure changes on internal systems
• Monitor and review team purchase orders, and team expense reports, prior to manager approval (and/or act as proxy approver when needed)
• Support systems, access, location and  IT needs for managers and new employees
• Provide project and presentation support as needed
• Responsible for ordering materials, catering, giveaways, and supplies as needed

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Project Controller to start immediately in our busy Townsville office on a fixed term contract of 12 months.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Working in teams to ensure proper controls on the projects and assisting Project Managers (PM’s) and operational leaders to deliver optimal profit and cash results for AECOM. 
• Drive the P&L and cash performance of AECOM by providing insight to PM’s and operational leaders on how project and business profitability and cash performance can be improved.
• Monitor and prepare financial information relating to the projects within their portfolio and ensuring that project risks and opportunities are identified early. 
• Be based in our busy Townsville office and work across multidisciplinary teams.

We’re looking for a talented Marketing Executive to deliver innovative campaigns designed to engage our publishing metro subscribers and demonstrate subscription value through key content amplification, personalised communications and subscriber offers with the key goal of reducing churn.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of key engagement initiatives using marketing platforms to create a personalised subscriber experience and drive engagement with key content. 

You will collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure our subscribers stay informed and deepen their connection with our newsroom. 

Day to day you will:

• Deliver key engagement initiatives: Develop and execute engagement and subscriber benefit campaigns.
• Manage and execute BAU communications: Develop, send and provide recommendations for BAU email sends plus manage the schedule and creative process for BAU house press and display ads.
• Promote key editorial content: Collaborate closely with our newsrooms to ensure subscribers are informed on the latest from our newsrooms, deepen their connection with our journalists and raise awareness of our breadth of content.
• Build email engagement triggers: Use behavioural data and subscription insights to build compelling messaging and triggers to further engagement and improve retention across the customer lifecycle.
• Reporting and analysis: Ongoing campaign tracking, testing, reporting and analysis to form and communicate insights.

Reporting to the Editor, Sydney Morning Herald, the Personal Assistant position provides high-level support to the Editor and day-to-day office management and reception duties. The role involves confidential, high-level information as well as engagement with executive and community stakeholders.
