Your role

This is a hybrid role that encompasses category, supplier and trade functions. The scope of the role is some of Botany Group’s portfolio of brands and will report to the Head of Category.

What you’ll be doing

• Knowledge: Deep level of understanding in how to analyse data to extract meaningful insights.
• Relationships: You will work closely with our suppliers marketing team members and you will extract and integrate all the necessary inputs required to build retailer reviews, brand plans, JBP’s, workshop presentations etc. This includes but is not limited to; obtaining samples, imagery, marketing plans, overseas data/insights, NPD information.
• Marketing: You will help coordinating the marketing activities with our suppliers, and the in-store activations with our Sales teams.
• Brand Planning: Work with our sales team to develop data led strategies to grow our brands in the Australian market (retail sales, purchases, ex-factory sales). These will be linked to both Botany Group’s budget and our JBP targets with the supplier. You will be responsible for formalizing these objectives, strategies and key results into Brand Plans. • TTS and BMI spend management: Trade Marketing; tracking and analysing TTS and BMI spend. You will work with the sales team to develop optimal promotional programs and utilization of BMI spend within our given spend parameters. You will also be involved in the claims process, making sure our Co-Op, TTS and BMI spend is claimed back from your supplier.
