Job Title: Project Finance Lead/Senior Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Finance Lead/Senior Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial aspects of various projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The role requires a strong understanding of project finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Financial Management:

Develop and maintain project financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
Monitor project financial performance against budgets and provide timely and accurate reports to senior management.
Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Strategic Financial Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project financial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand project dynamics and financial implications.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Risk Management:

Identify and assess financial risks associated with projects and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Implement controls to safeguard the financial integrity of projects.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for projects, considering both short-term and long-term financial goals.
Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function and implement best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Proven experience in project finance and management accounting, preferably in a senior role.
Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
