The Editorial Director for AFR Ventures is responsible for driving the strategic and editorial success of key Financial Review projects, including its influential AFR Lists and Summits across key industries. AFR Ventures also oversees the paper’s Special Reports, Thought Leadership and a broad range of special events. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Ventures and work closely with the Commercial Director to develop and deliver high-quality content for new and existing partners. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and optimise new and existing event opportunities, ensuring timely, high-standard delivery of themes, agendas, and speakers.
• Collaborate with Sales to conceptualise and present Special Report opportunities; oversee the Special Reports Editor to ensure high-quality, timely content.
• Manage Program Managers to ensure successful delivery of AFR Lists, covering operations, marketing, methodology, and customer service.
• Grow and execute Thought Leadership initiatives, developing a suite of products like Insights Reports, Roundtables, and whitepapers.
• Explore and propose new products such as polling and market research, crafting campaign proposals and pricing.

As the Digital Media Specialist you will support the Digital Media Leads in the planning, execution and optimisation of paid digital media activity across all campaigns and channels (SEM, affiliates, paid social, display, video, audio). Helping to drive digital media plans to achieve brand objectives such as awareness, consideration, and conversion/sales.

You will support the Digital Media Lead on larger briefs while being responsible for low to medium sized campaigns, as well as mentoring and training the Digital Coordinator to assist in activation and reporting of all activity.

• Support the Digital Media team in planning and buying of digital media. Play a key support role to the Digital Media Lead by partnering with supporting their relevant brand marketing teams.
• Responsible for developing strategic responses to briefs,  tactical planning (low to mid tier activity), execution, optimisation and measurement of paid digital media activity across all required campaigns and channels (Search, Affiliates, Social, Display, Video, Mobile, etc) 
• Inflight and post campaign budget management & delivery of reporting, as required by brand teams. Initiating and managing tactical test and learn opportunities.
• Responsible for the delivery of creative spec briefs for digital media channels, partnering with the creative services team
• Build a strong relationships with the broader Endeavour Marketing and eCommerce teams, our Media Agencies and our key digital partners. Influence key stakeholders to drive greater performance and mutual outcomes. Present campaign responses to cross functional teams and make recommendations on improving media effectiveness. 
• Be a key part of a culture of continuous improvement & optimisation 
• Have continued curiosity and interest in the evolution of digital media and technology, staying abreast of new advancements and bringing learnings and best practice to the team and our activity 
• Training and upskilling the Digital Coordinators, assisting them with workload and help them to prioritise tasks.
• Provide input into weekly updates to Marketing Leadership team on digital media performance results
