We are looking for an experienced Data Operations Engineer with 3-5 years of industry experience. This role's core focus is delivering day-to-day data operations and  service management across our data and visualisation platforms, data products, and applications. Responsibilities include monitoring, triaging, and resolving issues, as well as collaborating closely with product squads and cross-functional teams for operations and support. Strong GCP, Azure knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential. The role will work closely with the Data Operations Lead ensuring efficient service response and alignment with standards and  processes across the data operations space.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Monitor the support tickets, provide level 1/2 operations support for Endeavour data platforms, data products, data applications

• Provide incident resolution (L1/L2), create root cause analysis documents,  triage with L3 support teams where appropriate

• Monitor data pipelines, Tableau dashboard refresh schedules, SQL jobs, take proactive actions to remediate the issues 

• Provide support with data quality issues, backfilling, data correction

• Provide CI/CD, Azure DevOps support to data engineers onboarding new data products, assist with debugging, code reviews, change control management 

• Document and knowledge share operations processes with the wider team 

• Run incident triage, change review meeting with wider stakeholders

• Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and wider stakeholders to understand data needs, guide them to platform standards and processes

About the Job

The Investments Data Architect is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of a robust, scalable, and efficient data architecture to support investment activities at Rest. This role involves designing advanced data solutions that align with our business strategy, optimising data flows, and shaping and maintaining our analytics capabilities to drive superior investment performance.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Create investment data architecture, option analysis, solution design, roadmap, data integration blueprint/plan, analytics and reporting design artefacts.
• Gather design requirements; plan, coordinate and participate in workshops, solution refinement, development activities, and support the testing of data & analytics work streams.
• Design solutions that ensure data integrity, consistency, completeness, and security. This will include solutions for the Investment data warehouse, whole of fund master data, data analytics platform as well as data integration solutions.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring data consistency, quality, and availability.
• Assess and evaluate Investment data management applications and platforms from third party providers.
• Provide Data / DevOps Engineering guidance and support on work practices, development lifecycle and adherence to solution designs and patterns.
• Define and maintain data / information architecture assets and roadmaps based on changes in business scenarios, environment, technology architecture and regulation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including domain architects, data engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Build relationships across all levels of the organisation, engage with various stakeholders to analyse, model, and make recommendations on new and changed requirements.

The Data Platforms Manager is a hands-on leadership role within the Advanced Analytics, Centre of Excellence team. This position is responsible for evaluating, onboarding and assisting with the roadmap of data assets, in collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation. 

The successful candidate will lead a diverse, distributed team. The position will act as a liaison between the Information Asset team and the various data product squads across the organisation as well as the transformation program.

This senior role is responsible for coordinating the data asset roadmap across various streams of work within the advanced analytics squads, technology, and transformation programs. The Data Platforms Manager  will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our data standards, facilitating data discovery, and ensuring the effective communication and utilization of our data assets.

• Oversee the ongoing management and enhancement of the Collibra catalogue and its functionality. Maintain and communicate the mapping of legacy data to the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) to encourage its usage over legacy assets.

• Monitor and manage the technical debt of enterprise information assets, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.

• Address issues related to data discovery, cataloguing, and data lineage visibility. Work on user access control and PII tagging frameworks, particularly focusing on future state design through collaboration with Google Cloud Professional Services.

• Resolve challenges related to data domains, asset ownership, and assets in limbo.

About the role:

The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team in the financial management, control and operation of CDC Data Centres.

The role involves preparation, reconciliation, and analysis of accounting records. The role delivers value through timely provision of accurate and relevant information and analysis, thereby supporting CDC's decision making.

Other responsibilities include:

• Maintain the general ledger, fixed assets, and structure within the finance system, including preparing and posting general journals and managing ledgers up to consolidated financial statements.
• Complete month-end tasks and reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts for inter-company loans, prepayments, and fixed assets, and provide relevant reconciliations and analysis for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
• Analyse movements in Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Oversee billing transactions to ensure accurate processing of customer invoices, monthly income in advance billings, sundry income, and subleases.
• Set up new customers, change orders, and other modifications in the system promptly, assisting in issue resolution.
• Reconcile group bank accounts daily, resolve reconciling items, and assist in the collections process for overdue debts.

About you: 

This role would be suitable for a candidate who has a Finance, Accounting or Commerce degree and commencing/working towards your CA/ CPA qualification.

• Previous working exposure within a financial reporting-based position.
• Possess strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Approach tasks with an investigative and analytical mindset, ensuring accuracy and completeness in outcomes.

Essential:

•  Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
