We are looking for an experienced Data Operations Engineer with 3-5 years of industry experience. This role's core focus is delivering day-to-day data operations and service management across our data and visualisation platforms, data products, and applications. Responsibilities include monitoring, triaging, and resolving issues, as well as collaborating closely with product squads and cross-functional teams for operations and support. Strong GCP, Azure knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential. The role will work closely with the Data Operations Lead ensuring efficient service response and alignment with standards and processes across the data operations space.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Monitor the support tickets, provide level 1/2 operations support for Endeavour data platforms, data products, data applications
Provide incident resolution (L1/L2), create root cause analysis documents, triage with L3 support teams where appropriate
Monitor data pipelines, Tableau dashboard refresh schedules, SQL jobs, take proactive actions to remediate the issues
Provide support with data quality issues, backfilling, data correction
Provide CI/CD, Azure DevOps support to data engineers onboarding new data products, assist with debugging, code reviews, change control management
Document and knowledge share operations processes with the wider team
Run incident triage, change review meeting with wider stakeholders
Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and wider stakeholders to understand data needs, guide them to platform standards and processes
Contribute to continual service improvement and optimisation
Available on support-call support during public holidays if needed
