About the Job
The Investments Data Architect is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of a robust, scalable, and efficient data architecture to support investment activities at Rest. This role involves designing advanced data solutions that align with our business strategy, optimising data flows, and shaping and maintaining our analytics capabilities to drive superior investment performance.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Create investment data architecture, option analysis, solution design, roadmap, data integration blueprint/plan, analytics and reporting design artefacts.
- Gather design requirements; plan, coordinate and participate in workshops, solution refinement, development activities, and support the testing of data & analytics work streams.
- Design solutions that ensure data integrity, consistency, completeness, and security. This will include solutions for the Investment data warehouse, whole of fund master data, data analytics platform as well as data integration solutions.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring data consistency, quality, and availability.
- Assess and evaluate Investment data management applications and platforms from third party providers.
- Provide Data / DevOps Engineering guidance and support on work practices, development lifecycle and adherence to solution designs and patterns.
- Define and maintain data / information architecture assets and roadmaps based on changes in business scenarios, environment, technology architecture and regulation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including domain architects, data engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Build relationships across all levels of the organisation, engage with various stakeholders to analyse, model, and make recommendations on new and changed requirements.
