We are looking for a Customer Support Associate to join the Square Australia Customer Success team. The Customer Success team works with Square sellers (merchants) by phone and email, to solve problems, demonstrate how to get the most out of Square, and always improve our Square products by giving feedback to Square Product teams. Reporting to the Lead, Customer Success, you’ll support our diverse Square seller base across Australia.

You may have current experience providing customer service in hospitality, retail, or another customer-focused role. You will work with your lead and Square teammates to develop a career in a technology company, better understand the unique challenges faced by Australian (and international) small business owners, and help promote long-term success for Square in Australia.

This role can be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney offices through a hybrid of in-office and remote working, but also remotely anywhere on the east coast of Australia. Multiple positions are available.

You will:

• Spend the majority of your day (up to 80% of your shift) working with Square sellers by handling inbound phone inquiries in a fast-paced environment
• Apply creative problem solving to seller inquiries with the support of your partners, resource and leadership
• Identify, document, take ownership of sellers' issues and see problems through to resolution, escalating feature requests
• Analyse trends in sellers issues and suggest improvement ideas and plans 
• Work with internal Squares and our Square Australia sellers with empathy, being willing to seek different perspectives, take principled risks and have a focus on inventing and learning
• Occasionally work on public holidays to support our Square Australia sellers

As a B2B Customer Support Specialist within the carsales Dealer Services team, you will be the eyes and ears to our customers by providing both general and technical support to our Dealers, Performance Managers, and BDMs.
 
You’ll provide exceptional customer service across phone, email and LiveChat, with the objective to find a way and say “yes” as often as possible. Although we are “carsales”, we have a variety of verticals across our business, and you’ll quickly become familiar with our automotive, marine, motorcycle and industry product offerings.

Please note this is a 0.8 FTE role working Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm.

• Taking ownership of all customer enquiries that you receive and handling them in a professional and courteous manner.
• Regularly update customers on how their requests are progressing.
• Recording notes for all support queries, changes and task completions.
• Keeping up-to-date with our product and service offerings so that you can always provide customers with accurate information.

As the Lounges Customer Experience Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading lounge teams and operations across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, including International, Domestic and Regional lounges. You will work with partner areas to develop consistent and connected service experiences across our lounge customer touchpoints.  You will be a people leader and change agent focused on aligning lounges with the best customer experience practices whilst overseeing operational performance within a region. 

In addition, you will drive a performance focussed culture by developing a high performing team and an engaged workforce across both Qantas and third-party supplier workforces by leading, encouraging and facilitating open communication with employees on all relevant matters.  As well as managing individual, team and supplier performance against relevant performance criteria and supporting capability development. 

The core role accountabilities include people management, supplier management, safety, financial performance, operational delivery, and customer advocacy.  In addition, providing project management leadership to support key change initiatives within your regional portfolio of lounges including lounge refurbishments, menu and service changes, as well as attracting new client airline business. 

You’ll have –

• Previous experience with People management in a customer facing or product development environment 
• Firm understanding of the airline industry and the operational environment 
• Strong independent decision-making skills with ability to manage ramifications of decisions and drive strategic outcomes 
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results within complex business & operational environments with varying stakeholder needs and expectations 
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills 
• Commercial acumen for delivery of critical business approvals, financial analysis and identifying group benefits 
• Ability to influence at all levels 
• Customer centric mindset and perspective to programs of work 
• Sound understanding on the fundamentals of the customer and service experience 
• Proven strong analytical, interpersonal, stakeholder and time management skills 
• Extensive experience managing large and complex projects

• Scheduling general repairs and maintenance as required at multiple properties;
• Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
• Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
• Maintain daily work records and service schedules
• Ensure WHS best practice at all times
