About the role

• This opening is for a Customer Service / Admin Officer to join our team in Mackay

• This is a Full time, Permanent Role. The working hours for this role are 9:00 – 17:06.  

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Manage customer and client freight queries across multiple divisions within our Mackay Depot

• Handle each customer interaction with empathy and resilience, adapting to diverse needs and situations.

• Educate customers on how to use our self-service platforms effectively.

• Liaise with on site operations staff in order to resolve any customer queries or requests in a timely manner

• Data Entry of timesheet hours, rostering and payroll data into our systems and spreadsheet trackers

• Prioritise your work effectively and efficiently throughout the day and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain staff, training and compliance databases where required

• Order in Uniforms and Stationery where necessary

• Manage various spreadsheet trackers, reports and other compliance documents in order to cleanse, update and maintain them on a regular basis

About The Role

We are looking for fun, outgoing, and dedicated individuals to join our team of customer service consultants. Located at our Karawatha Contact Centre, where every interaction is an opportunity to connect with our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer interactions via phone, email, and chat.

We are currently seeking to fill multiple positions on both a full-time and part-time basis. While this ad primarily targets part-time positions, we encourage applicants interested in full-time roles to apply as well.

Training will be provided to ensure your success and confidence in the role.

Most importantly, confidence in navigating technology is non-negotiable for you, especially in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Journey Beyond is focused on bringing Australia’s most unique experiences to life. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join their team on The Ghan based in Alice Springs, one of Australia’s most luxurious rail journeys.

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated individual to join the Platform team based at the Alice Springs Terminal. In this role you will be responsible for working within a team to help facilitate the requirements of The Ghan while it is stationed in Alice Springs.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, some of your tasks will include:

·          Platform duties, including luggage handling.

·          Refiling the train with water

·          Operating equipment including wheelchair lifter and on-site vehicles

·          Set-up and pack-down of semi-weekly dinner functions

·          Transporting stock and supplies on and off-site

·          As required, cleaning and housekeeping tasks on-train and in the terminal.

·          Other duties as requested.

About you

·          Can do attitude

·          Full and unrestricted driver’s license (H Endorsement preferred but not necessary)

·          Confident towing a trailer

·          Safety focused

This position will require you to be on your feet for long periods of time and primarily outdoors. To be successful in this position you will have a keen eye for detail and quality of presentation and be able to operate calmly under time pressure. Ability to safely adhere to protocols when engaged in manual handling and operation of equipment.

This role reports directly to the Customer Service Team Lead and will see you utilise your awesome Customer Service experience to build customer relationships, work with technicians on scheduling and make outgoing calls to customers to promote our products and services.

Core responsibilities in the role include:

• Keeping the customer at the centre of your thinking by taking responsibility and ownership for customer satisfaction, loyalty and responding to customer queries related to their bookings in an effective manner.
• Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services
• Demonstrate experience in customer service, including the ability to display empathy and active listening skills. Provide a high level of customer service and act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy while scheduling appointments for residential customers
• Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities using excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines, KPI's and meet sales targets while working as a team and independently.
• Ability to multi-task and attend to ad-hoc jobs as and when they arise
• Documentation of all relevant information on the CRM to provide clear instruction for field technicians.
• Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience working in call centre or internal sales environments (essential)
• Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into sales
• Capable of working with multiple web-based data-bases and email programs. Experience in Microsoft suite is desirable.
• Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
• Able to work calmly under pressure while multitasking.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues.
• Professional, reliable and punctual.
• Accurately enter data into systems.
