About the Role

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Floor Manager for our South Australia Warehouse. This role will be working independently in a shared warehouse space reporting to our VIC & SA warehouse and logistics manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful receipt, organisation, tracking, picking, packing and delivery of our products, ensuring the premium experience of our customers and the safety of our staff and our stock.

The Floor Manager will be instrumental in liaise with customers and contractors who are picking up deliveries as well as working with the Eco Outdoor Sales, Fulfilment, Warehousing and Imports teams as required.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Engagement within the Customer Experience function, the Community Manager is responsible for building, engaging, and maintaining the online community around the Employment Hero platform. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow and nurture our first online user community as a proof of concept and subsequently build out all wider user communities across Employment Hero user types and regions. 
• Initially moderate user-generated content and discussions (with subject matter support), ensuring adherence to community guidelines and maintaining a respectful and safe environment; subsequently building out the capability required to operate our communications in a customer centric and operationally efficient way.

Unity Fund Services (UFS) is expanding our team and we are searching for a qualified Fund Accountant in the position of Assistant Manager to help us lead, coach, and mentor our fund accountants as we redefine fund administration.   

This role will use your >5 years background as a general accountant (CPA/CA) and your people management experience within fund services environments.  Your knowledge of working in a variety of asset classes is essential to this role.  It is expected that all our assistant managers have the ability to still be hands-on with the “tools” including highly advanced skills using Excel, Word.

Assistant managers within our team at UFS are able to demonstrate their ability to lead from the front by motivating their teams, sharing knowledge, and coaching their teams to ongoing success.  Your proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving and ability to bring a team together is what will drive your success in our organisation. We are searching for assistant managers who have the ability to build a strong rapport with their teams but also be confident advisers to our clients. 

The role will see you assume responsibility for a varied portfolio of investment funds which may include wholesale or retail: 

• property / real estate funds
• credit/debt funds
• fund of funds
• hedge funds
• financial assets
• other investment funds

Tasks/Responsibility

• Managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all aspects of fund administration are delivered in a compliant and efficient manner 
• Manage a small team of fund accountants ensuring all team members are trained and motivated to deliver excellent client services
• Review and approve for release all client deliverables to a high quality ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to
• Ensure clients meet regulatory obligations in respect of fund administration and tax compliance
• Successfully onboard new Funds to required timeframes
• Manage all aspects of teamwork flow ensuring work is appropriately allocated and resourced to meet client deadlines and staff development opportunities
• With support of team manager ensure all team members are motivated, receive adequate training and have development plans in place to achieve career objectives
• Assist with internal projects from time to time
• Escalate issues identified by client, trustee and team to ensure a viable solution can be found.
