This is an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to join our growing Real Estate Management Services team in North Sydney. We are looking for a driven and passionate candidate with recent experience in a commercial property management.

This key role will be responsible for the property management of a diversified portfolio of assets located on the North Shore including commercial office, industrial and retail. This portfolio will see you develop your existing property management knowledge, as well as expanding your understanding of all aspects of management services. You will build strong relationships with clients and relative stakeholders, ensuring business objectives are met, and expectations are exceeded.

You will successfully achieve this by undertaking the following key tasks:

• Manage daily tenants matters, respond to all incoming requests, assist in resolving issues.
• Implement and maintain orderly lease administration, financial management procedures and overall reporting
• Control the collection and reconciliation of monies, including rentals, outgoings, and recoverable costs in conjunction with strict arrears management practices.
• Prepare operating and capital expenditure budgets, involving other key stakeholders in annual budget development where relevant.
• Manage all internal and external audit processes.
• Negotiation of new leases and lease renewals as instructed by client in accordance with Work process flows.
• Liaise with client’s solicitors to facilitate the preparation of appropriate lease and licence documentation as approved.
• Participate in the maintenance of a detailed property database providing summary details of property leases.
• Put together service contracts, coordinate property risk assessments and carry out property inspections.
• Oversee Facilities Manager, assisting with repairs and maintenance works.
• Assist with the development of tenant retention and satisfactory initiatives.

To perform day-to-day tasks, being able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of our customer’s expectations and execute them with an appropriate sense of urgency, attitude, commitment, and professionalism. You are required to be our customer’s ‘go-to’ person for all their freight forwarding needs.

In addition to this, to perform tasks as requested, assisting in general customer service duties both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes.
