About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our site in Morwell. Responsible for up to 24 team members over 4 crews, managing the warehouse operations. Other responsibilities include managing external transport of finished product to 3PL providers, receiving deliveries from other sites and suppliers, waste removal and managing our Forklift fleet. • Support the Head of Department in ensuring that all Team Members receive a thorough induction upon commencement, ongoing training and attend formal training sessions.

• Establish and maintain open channels of communication between all departments in the Property particularly the kitchen to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
• Ensure the department is consistently ready for service at the scheduled operating times.

• Ensure Team Members have a strong product knowledge of the ingredients, method of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu and buffet.
• Ensure Team Members have strong product knowledge of all wine styles on the outlet wine list.
• Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard 
• Promptly report any maintenance work required in the proximity of the outlet to the Head of Department.

Your Day to Day

• Lead the fulltime and casual workforce and ensure daily targets are achieved for picking and packing of customer orders.
• Lead and manage a support administrators across various functions.
• Act as the escalation point for any Team member, head office sales and/or customer service queries.
• Own and execute the KPI reporting process for the casual workforce ensuring eCommerce KPI’s and daily outputs are published, discussed and utilised as a means of performance management communication.
• Support the development, maintenance, and review of picking, assembly, packing and shipping SOPs.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
• Ensure all packing and deliveries are in line with customer requirements.
• Provide a safe working environment ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.
• Lead by example, mentor staff and provide active frontline management with pick and pack team members to ensure they are motivated, trained and competent to perform assigned tasks.
• Be available to support weekend shifts during peak trading periods.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the HOF.

• Lead team members in all aspects of the daily operation of the Restaurant/Café, providing the necessary assistance and training where required

What You'll Bring:

Ideally, you will have previously managed or held a senior role in a Food and Beverage department you are now ready to move into a role where no one day will ever be the same. Your hands on experience will assist in leading & mentoring the department to success.

• Experience in a restaurant and or previous customer service experience.
• Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds
• Ability to communicate to the resort team the NRMA business goals, as well as the resort specific goals, and to encourage and support initiatives which may assist those goals
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Ability to maintain control and composure in difficult situations
