As a Site Supervisor at Tech Span Building, you will play a vital role in overseeing the construction of large custom commercial buildings within the Greater Sydney area. This is a new role that requires a hands-on approach, managing projects onsite, coordinating with trades, liaising with site superintendents, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with trades, site superintendents, clients, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Coordinate onsite activities, including pre-site inspections, project site visits, WHS Compliance and materials collection as required.
- Manage defects reviews on completed sites, conduct periodic visits to low oversight sites, and ensure WH&S protocols.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager in Armidale for effective communication and project coordination.
- Utilize basic Microsoft skills, create professional emails, work with tools like Smartsheet, and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Be on-site or off-site at 7 am, participating in daily Teams Meetings to plan daily activities.
- Handle office-based tasks, including coordinating SWMS, sending RFQs, managing requisitions, and contributing to Tech Span's values.
- Ensure procurement aligns with Company processes and policy, negotiating pricing, timing, and scope in support of procurement teams where required.
- Monitor ongoing profitability, contribute to End-of-Job reviews, and prepare reports for the leadership team.
- Proven experience in industrial commercial and structural steel construction, including experience with precast projects.
- Sydney-based ensuring efficient coverage of project sites with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with trades and clients to ensure long-term relationships and project efficiencies
- Physical fitness for on-site inspections and defect reviews.
- Technical proficiency in construction management tools, including Procore and industry platforms.
- Strong ability to interpret construction documents and use tools like Excel for project-related tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
