As a BI Analyst at Team Global Express, you will be an integral part of our Global Express division, delivering high-quality BI services that propel our business forward. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the business context of data and processes.
• Developing visually appealing and informative data visualizations, providing invaluable business intelligence support.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to classify, define, and align business information, ensuring data quality standards.
• Acquiring, transforming, cleansing, and standardizing data using various techniques to support BI investigations.
• Providing technical and educational support to Business Intelligence users.
• Driving continuous improvement of BI and data platforms in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborating with IT delivery and support teams, following established processes and standards.
• Ensuring compliance with security and risk protocols as per our IT policy.

Desired Qualifications & Skills: To excel in this role, you should have:

• Solid experience with Microsoft BI technology stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI).
• Strong programming skills in at least one of SQL, R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience in developing and administering BI applications (e.g., TM1, PowerBI, or SAS).
• Proficiency in business process analysis and requirements gathering methods.
• Desirable experience in statistical analysis methodologies, including forecasting, machine learning, and predictive analytics techniques.
• Desirable knowledge of data quality methodologies, including data cleansing and profiling techniques.
• Preferred high-level knowledge of the supply chain and logistics business domain.
• Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to explain evidence-based insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Application Support Analyst-Level 2

About The Role:

As a Level 2 Support Analyst you will be responsible for the support of Civica’s Education applications and services.  As a member of the Level 2 Support Team, you will assist with the diagnosis, remediation, and resolution of production issues, liasing with the client support team, internal IT operations and development teams where necessary.  The role will also involve engaging external vendors.

Other keys areas of responsibility will include:

• Provide excellent customer service in line with Civica Service Desk Charter and Values.
• Provide application support for products and services produced by Civica to defined service levels.
• Diagnose and resolve functional issues.
• Prioritise customer needs and deliver solutions with a customer-centric approach.

• Identify recurring issues and share findings to prevent similar problems from happening in the future.

• Adhere to Service Management policies, processes, and procedures (e.g. ticket handling policy, incident management, request fulfilment and problem management), follow all relevant business and information security processes as documented in the relevant management systems, and provided by Team Leader.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a customer-facing Service Desk environment.
• Proficient in process analysis, problem-solving techniques, and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous application support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail, organised and possess excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Experience with SQL scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Previous experience supporting Education and Finance systems.

Support hours are Monday to Friday between 7 am to 6 pm ACDT/ACST.

Role and Responsibilities

                                                                                                         

The Technical Manager, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, is responsible for the overall management and coordination of CAE resources (maintenance and support personnel), budget and operational maintenance requirements of the training devices under their control. The Technical Manager is responsible to ensure the successful delivery of all maintenance services and user training outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.

The Technical Manager achieves desired profit contribution targets by monitoring and reporting on maintenance performance and costs in accordance with approved operating budgets, controlling the resources under their jurisdiction and taking corrective action where necessary.

The Technical Manager is the point‐of‐contact for the end user and customer on site for day to day operational needs.

The Technical Manager is responsible to the KPI achievement, Customer Satisfaction, Team engagement and development, Regulatory Compliance, Environment, Health and Safety and Overall support for the Training Center operations.

• Perform employee management activities such as resources allocation, performance evaluation, and employee development

Maintenance Technical Manager

We are opening a new training centre in Sydney in 2024, as a part of this we are looking for an experienced manager to take on the position of Maintenance Technical Manager. This is a broad role with responsibility for the overall operations of the training centre – focusing on budgets, KPIs, Customer Satisfaction, Team engagement, H&S, and overall support for the operations.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Technical Degree or similar with an Electrical Engineering focus
• Ideally has knowledge of CAE simulation technology and 5-10 years hands on experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Friendly and customer focused
• Ability to work and converse efficiently across all levels
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good problem solving and team working skills.
• Proven ability to handle difficult situations.
• Excellent communication skills, with another language being an added bonus

We require a true business side BA with amazing stakeholder skills to join our small transformation team. This is an 8-month contract (with possibility to extend).

You will be straddling both business and tech, to review a minefield of data. Understanding source systems and mapping this data. You will be interacting with many business stakeholders and working with both our business project team and tech teams to get under the hood of data requirements. Of course there will be other BA deliverables along the journey, for eg. extrapolating user stories, process mapping, business testing. 

To be successful in this role, you will need 

• High level of structured and critical thinking to synthesize data from several systems and map those into receiving system. Understanding transformation requirements.
• Work extensively with business to identify data which requires cleaning and proactively solutioning how to lessen the business load required to clean data.
• Conduct discovery workshops with the business to understand their needs, and document in a way that will facilitate prioritisation of their requests versus other projects
• Capture and document business requirements via workshops, meetings and other interactions with key business stakeholders
• In conjunction with input from the Product Owner and development team, lead the crafting of functional designs that can both be understood by the business and actioned by the development team
• Be capable of working and executing projects in Agile environment
• Possess superior stakeholders skills and ability to engage with business at varying levels.
