Role Highlights

The Insights Analyst will be a key member of our dynamic and fast paced analyst team, creating critical business and market insights that our clients rely on to measure and grow performance and direct their strategy.

You will gain experience in analysing primary voice of customer data, secondary macro data, and corporate case studies. Key responsibilities:

• Analysis of primary consumer data to provide recommendations and propose actions for client’s strategic decision-making
• Analysis of secondary data (economic, financial etc) to triangulate and contextualise RFI’s primary research

• Accurate creation and detailed review of sensitive performance metrics used by our clients within core functions of their institutions, and for market updates

As an Actuarial Analyst for our Model Assurance team, you will be working with a dedicated and close-knit team to deliver key model review initiatives.

In this role you will have the unique opportunity to make a change and become a champion for better data and modelling practices within TAL.  Working from a first-principles approach, you will be able to challenge existing methodologies and models (including Prophet) to allow for improvement in the ways of working and sustainable model development.

The role will have exposure to the breadth and depth of TAL’s comprehensive suite of products, and you will be able to extract new insights in collaboration with your team and external teams such as in the Product and Pricing area. As part of model review, you will be working with entire portfolios of businesses and as such your findings can produce high-level impactful results for TAL.

You will be presenting your findings to a range of key stakeholders in the business, from the model owners to the project sponsors at the general manager level.

You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with your team, providing mutual support, peer-reviewing and problem-solving together during the team’s project work.

In addition, you will provide support on other initiatives beyond model review depending on the business’ needs which can include within the data space.

Reporting into the Group Manager - Talent and Engagement, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and analysing employee surveys to provide insights and recommendations on key business decisions which impact our People. Your advanced Microsoft Excel skills will enable you to efficiently clean and manipulate large data sets, to identify trends.

As Employee Engagement Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business, including HR Business Partners, to ensure teams have the required insights to improve the employee experience at Qantas. You’ll have –

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Science or related field

• Demonstrated experience in survey design and rollout, project coordination and/or data manipulation

Our highly valued Media Research Analysts are key members within a group of media research specialists who provide insights and data analytics support across the business.

As a key member of the team, you will support a wide range of internal departments across the business including National Sales, Powered, Programming, Program EP’s, Marketing including Trade Marketing, Publicity team. 

Reporting to the Head of Research - Total TV you will be responsible for:

• Responding effectively and in a timely manner to research requests from the sales team
• Producing and maintaining audience reports and dashboards
• Working with the team to proactively develop new sales research presentations and collateral
• Analysing Cross Platform, TV and BVOD ratings and interpreting audience behaviour
• Providing support for bespoke surveys run by the research team
• Using research tools such as LandJ Fusion, Arianna, TVMAP, Clear Decisions, Asteroid, iPORT, Tableau as well as Nine proprietary tools to provide information to sales and other key stakeholders

An exciting opportunity for a Time and Attendance Analyst to join our payroll team based in North Sydney. In this collaborative role you will work across Payroll, People & Culture, IT, Rostering Managers and the wider Nine business to embed and improve processes to capture, track and resolve system maintenance requests and end user issues in relation to the Time & Attendance system (Humanforce). Your attention to detail and demonstrated experience is required to accurately maintain the system, ensure compliance with employee agreements, and deliver training and support. 

Day to day you will: 

• Maintain accurate and updated functional documentation and training materials

• Support the business with system maintenance and access requests and pay related issues

• Ensure maintenance tasks such as updates to Humanforce Workflows and roles / access are tracked and actioned in a time effective manner

• Manage and coordinate the setup of any new awards and ongoing changes

• Maintain reporting lines in the T&A system

• Review and maintain the system to ensure all hours are entered, approved and processed

• Coordinate with Payroll the interface of approved time data into the Payroll system and employee data from the Payroll system to setup employees in Humanforce

• Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements for payroll are met (statutory holiday calculations, leave and overtime hours) and processed as required

The Research & Insights Analyst will be responsible for providing reporting, research and insights into the performance of Nine's Digital and Publishing brands to key stakeholders within the company to assist in the growth of audience reach & revenue within the competitive digital and publishing marketplace.  

The role sits within the broader Sales Research & Insights team who assist to provide insights across all of Nine’s media assets including Total TV and Total Audio.

Day to day you will:

• Respond effectively to research requests from the sales team and ensure the salesperson understands the research and its application in telling a good sales story for Nine’s Digital & Publishing brands
• Analyse site traffic and find patterns of behaviour that can be leveraged to maximise advertising revenue
• Produce and maintain audience reports and dashboards
• Conduct internal Ad Effectiveness research studies for Nine’s clients including scripting surveys, analysing the data and building presentations of the results
• Use data from industry research tools such as Ipsos Iris Digital Ratings, Roy Morgan, OzTAM and VOZ to provide information to the sales teams for inclusion in proposals and responses to advertising client briefs and to help business strategy

The People & Culture (P&C) Business Analyst is responsible for delivering a program of work that will strengthen and improve the process design and documentation of core People & Culture transactional processes. The P&C Business Analyst will design process improvements, as needed translated into system requirements, that meet the needs of our people, people leaders and P&C. This role plays a key part in enabling P&C to operate at scale and support future business growth.

As a business analyst you will use strong communication and technical skills to translate people experience requirements into effective processes and documentation. In the role you will investigate and analyse how existing processes supported by technology can be improved and/or further automated, by working closely with P&C, employee, and people leader stakeholder groups. The focus will initially be on P&C transactional processes that support P&C Service Delivery and processes that align to key moments that matter in our employee lifecycle.

You will approach the process re-design using “human centered design” practices and have end-to-end responsibility for completing the process re-design from current state analysis through to implementation. You will participate in testing and implementation activities to ensure processes are aligned to expectations of internal stakeholders.
You will contribute to building a culture of service delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation by proactively identifying and driving continuous improvement in your own practices and those of the team.

Key Accountabilities:

Business Analysis
• Analyse current People & Culture practices and processes, identifying improvement and transformation opportunities to improve the people experience of TAL employees and people leaders, increase productivity, improve speed of delivery, and eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (HRIS, P&C Operations, P&C Centre of Excellences, Technology) on delivering value to all stakeholders, being a subject matter expert and valued consultant.
• Document & analyse existing Workday system Business Processes, including current approval and condition rules. Provide recommendation for simplification of current business processes while working closely with appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Recommend and develop system and process improvements, including identifying opportunities for automation, articulating the benefits to the business and estimated effort of delivering the improvements.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, process design documents that clearly and specifically set out all requirements.
• Contribute to evolving the process documentation approach and framework within People & Culture.
• Ensure initiative risks and issues are current and clearly identifiable and traceable.
• Ensure proposed process design has considered downstream impacts of changes to other existing business processes.

• Co-ordinate/Implement system process changes & initiatives in collaboration with the HRIS team according to agreed timeframes and business requirements.
