About the role
As a Senior Test Analyst at Civica UK Ltd, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and achieving business targets. You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure effective communication and adherence to testing policies and standards. If you're passionate about software testing and want to make a real difference in public services, this is the opportunity for you.
Hands-on knowledge of Manual Testing is a must. This role opens for Melbourne candidates.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a software testing role
- Strong knowledge of current testing techniques and methodologies
- Experience in system testing, systems integration testing, regression testing, UAT, database testing, and API testing
- Provide Validation and verification of test inputs, functional specifications, requirements etc., for testability, ambiguity, and completeness
- Familiarity with Agile and waterfall development methodologies
- Experience working in a team located across time zones
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Produce test artefacts, Test Cases, Expected Results, Actual Results, Defects, Data, Defect Re-tests, and Test Outcome Reports
- Provide input to the Test Planning and Estimating test phases
- Ability to work well in a team
- Track record of delivering commitments on time and with high quality
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps is a plus
- ISTQB Advanced certified
- Fundamentals of Non-Functional Testing
- SQL/Database knowledge
- Act as a role model, mentor and coach to the Testers and Junior Testers
