The Visa Cross Border Solutions (VXBS) team is charged with leading the design, build, and commercialization of best-in-class flexible enterprise-wide FX, virtual accounts, and currency management solutions as we seek to meet the growing and increasingly diversified needs of clients moving funds around the world. In addition, VXBS includes the commercialization of Currencycloud, our recently acquired cloud-based embedded cross border money movement infrastructure solution and the integration of these capabilities into Visa platforms & solutions.

What a Senior Sales Consultant does at Visa:

• Research and identify potential clients, identify decision makers & qualify leads to build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities and deliver against sales targets
• Call and meet with prospective clients to understand their challenges and the positive impact Currencycloud can have on their business so that you can outline the benefits and demonstrate the value of our platform (we advocate Gap Selling)
• Negotiate and close contracts with clients to meet revenue targets, setting clients off on a path to success, resulting in sustainable revenue streams
• Manage and report against activity, pipeline, and sales metrics
• Work with Compliance, Solutions, Customer Success and Account Management team members to provide a smooth onboarding and handover of accounts post sale

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Due to Internal Promotion, we have an exciting opportunity open for an Area Manager to manage our North QLD branches. You will provide leadership and management to our Townsville, Cairns & Mackay branches.

This role can be based from Townsville, Cairns or Mackay.

Our North QLD Area Manager will:

• Manage multiple branches to create a culture of performance excellence in all aspects of service delivery.
• Manage multiple branches to achieve budgeted profit and loss performance
• Work from/visit each branch regularly to provide management & leadership that creates a culture of high performance and service delivery.
• Undertake business development activities in order to grow existing and new business across these branches. 
• Oversee recruitment, induction and training of new staff
• Undertake a minimum of monthly supervision with all direct reports.

Reporting directly to the Director, Operations, Finance & IT the Commercial Manager will provide strategic financial leadership and data-driven insights to support the growth and profitability of the company's operations in the Asia Pacific region. This role will oversee a team of analysts to provide accurate financial reporting, forecasting, modelling, insights, budgeting, and robust business intelligence capabilities to drive business performance.  

Key responsibilities required for the role: 

Financial Planning & Analysis 

• Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Asia Pacific region, including New Zealand, Australia, and countries between Japan and Korea. 

• Run the Period end calendar ensuing all key tasks are achieved on time and reports are accurate 

• Analyse financial performance against targets and identify areas for improvement across the region, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) 

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support strategic decision-making in specific markets within Asia Pacific. 

Budgeting and Forecasting 

• Oversee the development and execution of the budget process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. 

• Ensuring the rolling Forecast process is followed and collaborate with Sales & Production to ensure all risks and Opportunities are identified in a timely manner 

• Challenge leadership on performance outcomes and goals, providing data-driven insights to drive improvements. 

• Forecast future financial performance based on market trends, economic indicators, and operational plans. 

Business Intelligence 

• Oversee the development and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards and reports using Jet Reports, data warehouse, and Microsoft Dynamics ERP. 

• Analyse large datasets from manufacturing outputs, market sales information, and consumer research to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. 

• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the region, focusing on achieving the strategic growth objectives.  

Team Leadership & Development: 

• Lead a team of financial analysts, including the Production & Supply Chain Analyst and Commercial Insights Analyst, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial information for the Asia Pacific region. 

• Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
