We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join Mondrian Gold Coast’s pre-opening team to debut one of the most exciting and disruptive luxury lifestyle brands in Australia.  

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Hotel commercial team and global brand marketing teams to ideate, create and execute brand marketing, media relations, digital and social campaigns that gains cut-through and drives topline revenue.  The position will be required to manage the hotel, F&B and spa venues social media channels, content strategy and online presence inclusive of working with nominated agencies and analytical reporting.  

HOW YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE (JOB RESPONSIBILITIES):  

• Ensure that Mondrian Gold Coast brand image, marketing, social and photography guidelines are upheld reviewing all in-house and external facing materials as directed by the Director of Marketing.   

• Manage Mondrian Gold Coast, F&B and spa venues all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) both via a social media agency and directly.   

• Drive forward the implementation of brand and tactical marketing activities for F&B, spa, hotel programming, leisure activations and unique venues. 

• Support the implementation of the hotel, F&B and spa media relations strategies.   

• Coordinate internal and external PR activities.    

• Executes and collaborates with hotel, F&B and spa teams to coordinate photoshoots, releases, and other materials on file for publicity.    

• Work with the Director of Marketing to implement the hotel’s digital strategy to increase web contribution for the hotel, F&B and spa reservations via the nominated booking platform.   

• Adept at using Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and adhering to Ennismore’s social media policies, connectivity and social media channel and analytics tool.    

• Solid understanding of social paid media strategies and execution. 

The People and Culture Manager will play a pivotal role in bringing Mondrian Gold Coast to life by attracting, nurturing, and retaining exceptional talent. This role is designed for an agent of change with expertise in HR processes, employee engagement, learning and development, performance and talent management. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, you will align our People and Culture strategies with the resort's overarching goals. Serving as a strategic partner to the Departmental Leaders, you will represent the voice of our employees, ensuring their needs and aspirations are at the forefront of our people agenda.

Team Member Relations

• Foster a positive and structured work environment which encourages the successful operation of the business, calling upon the necessary processes to deal with disciplinary, grievance and workforce change situations. 
• Work alongside the departmental leaders to investigate, document and administer corrective action immediately and effectively to reach the mutual goals of the business and the employee in keeping with the company policy and local labour law.
• Be the champion of processes to ensure that the leaders understand their role in the process as well as the fair treatment of team members.

Team Member Engagement and Communications

• Strive to increase team member engagement by promoting a positive work environment where each team member is informed and proactive about the overall business goals.  Ensure the consistent delivery of business and team member information with transparency so that each team member understands how they contribute to the company’s success. 
• Arrange to have fun at work by facilitating a calendar of team member events including town halls where team members are celebrated and recognised.

Recruitment

• Ensure the recruitment of new hires are a fit and match for the Mondrian Brand and understand our ethos and vision. Ensure they are introduced into the Company through Mondrian’s specific on-boarding process.
• Actively promote and market the Mondrian brand as an “Employer of Choice” through advertising collateral and presentations.

Learning & Talent Development

• Ensure each department have adequate Departmental trainers to create a consistent training program in line with the Mondrian Service standards.
• Facilitate the Mondrian Onboarding program and maintain compliance in all mandatory training.

Performance Management

• Have a transparent development program in place for all front line, supervisory and mid-managerial positions in conjunction with the People & Culture leader and Department Leaders.
• Facilitate the performance management cycle from probation reviews, annual performance reviews, development plans as well as on the job training.

As Head Chef, you’ll oversee the daily culinary operations of our convention centre, from crafting fresh, memorable dishes to enforcing rigorous quality control. You'll play a crucial role in developing and nurturing your team by designing comprehensive training programs, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment where every team member can thrive. Your leadership will empower your team to reach their full potential and contribute significantly to our culinary success.

In addition to team development, you will manage food costs, coordinate with purchasing to meet daily requirements, and adhere to budget guidelines. Your careful planning and inventory control will be key in maintaining profitability while ensuring our culinary standards remain exceptional.
