The Role

We are seeking expression of interest for Warehouse Operator positions in Logistic Team at multiple sites in NSW (Penrith, Smithfield, Wetherill Park).

During this role, you will be required to manage product storage & movement within the cool room with the use of manual handling equipment including forklift and trucks. Besides, ensuring all the cool room functions are carried out in effective, efficient and timely manner, delivering the product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste in the correct quantity when it’s required.

Responsibilities

• Managing product storage and movement within the cool room

• Managing all the records and reports related to safety incidents, quality, waste management and maintenance.

• Delivering the best service to our stakeholders including customers and 3rd parties visitors

• Loading/Unloading stocks and storing properly.

• General housekeeping duties to meet required standard.

• Willingness to identify hazards and suggest improvements

• Strong initiative & keen eye to improve safety

• Licensed and competent forklift operator

• Written and verbal communication skills

As the Head Cook, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen quality standards are always complied with. You will be supporting recruitment, training, and development of all kitchen crew, supporting the restaurant manager with P&L results which includes, COGS, Labor, Operating Expenses and ensuring all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures are adhered to.

• Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of food safety concerns
